Smaller resort, awesome service, very friendly, good food, beautifully maintained, close to shopping, restaurants, weather 90 F, beautiful sunsets, loved that you could open up balcony doors to hear the waves even though there are no actual balconies.

We've travel to Mexico a lot and we expect the timeshare sharks. Usually when you check into a hotel you are sent to the activities desk immediately where they will try to get you to come to a presentation. The guy told us it would be an hour long and at the resort. He said it wasn't a timeshare presentation,...

The Sea Garden is a great place to stay if you want to be right on the beach. It's a smaller resort which makes it convenient to get to the beach --you can leave your room & in 3 minutes or less be on on a lounge chair on a great sandy beach watching the waves roll in. The beach...

Spent a week at Sea Garden. Weather was perfect, resort was clean and quiet. The beaches are well maintained and not crowded. The resort staff were very helpful and courteous. The restaurant was fairly priced and delicious.

This site is close to lots of good restaurants, villages, boating to other developments, and more. The location is beautifully maintained - personnel were cleaning all of the time! Rooms are adequate and VERY clean but just not elegant. The pool is large and lovely and beachfront chairs were plentiful. This is a great location for a laid-back vacation. The...

The employees at the Sea Garden make the resort a wonderful place to stay. From Julio and his crew who take care of you at the pool to the Joy Squad (Ivan, Tamara, Juan and Abimael) who provide fun poolside activities and entertainment to Lorena and Miquel and Ramon at the Rumm-Ba restaurant to the housekeeping/groundskeeping/bell staff, these people are...

This resort was relatively quite small (basically one building, maybe 8-10 stories high) but what it may have lacked in size was more than made up for in what it offered! Unlike many of its larger Nuevo Vallarta counterparts (where guests had to walk long distances or wait to catch a tram to the beach), Sea Gardens is right on...

Not an All Inclusive which suited my wife and I fine. The food was adequate and reasonably priced and the staff accommodating. The Joy squad does a nice job with activities and keeps the atmosphere light. We were infatuated with the beach and could not get enough of it. Good location, close to the marina which had a wide variety...

We wanted to have a quiet resort on the beach, it is not here. The music and microphone are very loud and annoying, most times of the day. There were tons of kids making tons of noise and who knows what in the pool. Not relaxing, complained at the front desk a couple of times to deaf ears. Not sure...

We love that the hotel is within a short walk from the beach! The pools are big and clean and they have a dj. There are lots of family activities we participated in. The food is really good. We especially loved the activities guy Alberto Rosas!!

Reviews of the Sea Garden seem to be all over the map!! You wouldn't even suppose they were speaking about the same property! One week a guest gives a 5-star rating, with positive comments. Within a week or 2 before or after, you'll find another guest rating it with 1-star and the distinct impression from their comments, they would have given it a -0 rating had that been an option. I also could not help noticing the "socialmediamanager"(?) seldom responded to the most negative reviews/comments and even when replying to the more favorable reviews, seldom addressed the specific concerns or issues the guests raised! Overall, I found his/her responses about as helpful as a load of bricks on a sore toe!! Would really like to know if previous/recent past guests' concerns/complaints/problems/issues have been/will ever be remedied. If so, in what way? For example, is true the only means by which one is given a decent room is by agreeing to go on a T/S presentation? Is the front-desk staff friendly and helpful or not? Are rude staff members taken to task for their behavior towards their guests? Is wifi now available at no cost or @ less than $25.00 US per day? Are the rooms clean and modernized or dirty and dated? I realize the reviews are all subjective in nature, but there are some minimum standards common across the industry, aren't there? Assuming anyone does actually offer a an explanation of sorts or not, I personally am locked into a visit here early next Spring willy-nilly, but I would however, like to forewarn my potential traveling companions what to expect! Thanks :)
