2 weeks of autumn sunshine and warm sunshine too. We were here in the summer for 2 weeks to recharge our batteries and were delighted to see the new baby Black Swan. Now, this baby is quite big and gorgeous. The colours of the trees in this 'hidden valley' changed daily as the sun dropped in the sky, but I...

We stayed at Christine's cottage for three days, because it was located so that we could make short trips and get to know the area. The thing is, we didn't know we would rather have stayed in La Baronniere all day long! (which we didn't because we had a schedule) The house, the gardens with its river and swans, the...

Our gorgeous landlady, Madame Fleury, informs me that this was our 9th year at this 'secret hideaway'. We keep coming back as it is the most peaceful and tranquil location to have a holiday. If you want 'buzz' and 'glitz' in your holiday then it can be found by driving to the very pretty towns of Honfleur, Deauville, or Trouville....

Six of us escaped to the peace and quiet of the beautiful Normandy countryside with historic and interesting places close by and a warm welcome waiting from Mdme Fleury at this delightful B and B. There are bikes available and good local walks. The nearby towns have markets and shops and there are some wonderful restaurants at Honfleur. Another plus...

Well maybe nor paradise but La Baronniere is in a beautifully peaceful setting with large lawned gardens and a lake populated with geese. We rented the double-bedded room while there is also a superbly furniushed gite that sleeps 8. Christine is a very amiable hostess prepared to spend time with her guests. Breakfast is very good, French and nourishing. La...

Christine and Hervé make you so welcome when you stay at either their gites or in the b&b accommodation. We have holidayed here for 5 years now, and had a brief stay this September (b & b costs 80 Euros per night) - we would have loved to have stayed longer but we were on a driving holiday this time....
