It is a very busy road and no footpath for most of the route so definitely not a good idea to walk. The route across the fields is steep and when we were there in April the fields were really muddy and slippery so again not... More

There is a chalet park below right of Chesil beach Lodge, but much of it is not seen due to the lie of the land and Chesil beach Lodge is situated higher with expansive views out to sea and up and down the Jurassic coastline
