Just had one night to celebrate a birthday. We had a room across the road which was lovely. It felt like a spacious suite due to the style with a corridor giving extra space and the fitted wardrobe being out here. The bathroom was quite large with gorgeous large fluffy towels and bathrobes plus lovely toiletries. All the staff were...

As with all the Devonshire Hotels, the Arms at Beeley was lovely. Our room was very comfortable, as we have come to expect. We normally stay at the Fell in Burnsall, just because its a little closer. If I had to choose I think we prefer the Fell just because it feels a little more "homely" The Arms at the...

Awesome hotel where the staff couldn't do enough. The room were large enough and the bed very comfortable. A really good 2 day stay The only slight criticism was the evening food menu had little choice for more than a couple of nights stay although the food was excellent

We stayed in a room in a cottage across the road. I dislike staying in annexes and would probably not have booked had I known.. The room was compact with only room for one easy chair and we had to dance around a little at times. However it was very well decorated and appointed and had a reasonably sized modern bathroom....

Went here for an an overnight stay to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, it was so popular that I couldn't stay on my actual birthday so we went the day before. We had stayed before in a room in the pub, but this time we had a room in one of the cottages which are just over the road from the...

Met local friends here for two nights. Stayed in one of the very spacious and luxurious cottage rooms. Absolutely satisfied! Comfortable bed, full of high end amenities. Did the bed, breakfast, and dinner option. Totally satisfied with excellent quality and variety of options. Great location for touring the local attractions. Would have no hesitation to recommend or stay here again....

This is a decent enough pub with the usual few things not right like 'out of sausages' and 'out of the cheese dish' by 7.30pm on a Friday night. We stayed 2 nights and the accommodation was alright without being special, the staff good especially Hannah, but the food was only average, the Brasserie more like a café ( try...

Stayed here one night driving from Heathrow to Lancaster via a Christmas visit to Chatsworth House. The accommodation was excellent albeit in little cottages across the road where we had breakfast the next morning. There were nice touches - bottled water and a little package of sweets and biscuits. Our party of three were accommodated in two rooms and we...

2 nights of bliss. No worries, everything was taken care of. It is a restful place with wonderfully trained staff and good food. Beautiful area for long walks with your pet. We walked to Chatterton Hall and it was a pleasant, steady path. Worth going to. We are already planning our next visit.

We were visiting England and wanted to experience an authentic stay at a typical British inn - and we definitely found it at the Devonshire arms. Such a beautiful place, we enjoyed a drink by the fire and our room was cosy and pretty. We loved the bath tub! The staff are very friendly Such a shame we only booked...
