This Hotel is managed very well. The rooms are very clean and tidy. I recommend you avoid the top floor because the heating is inadequate. When you walk down to the first floor you can feel the rise in temperature straight away. The food in the Restauant for dinner is overpriced in my opinion, although it was nice it never...

Whilst the Hotel is being revived, and has been so since 2014. We had no complaints at all aboit the Hotel. Staff are very polite, and the rooms good. (other than the Hesion type carpet. However the FOOD was appaling. The Vegetables best described as slppy, and some toounder cooked. The exotic description of the chickden meal i had. left...

We had 2 nights at The Manor. There's a lot to like in terms of the quality of the decor, lovely garden and breakfast. However, it somehow manages to fall a little short in terms of the warmth of the service. Whilst it is all very efficient and polite it lacks a level of hospitality that the look of the place...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We are glad you had a nice time. I am sorry you found us to be unfriendly or unhelpful in any way, we certainly did not mean to be. Just a couple of things, we do not have 4 flights of stairs, only 2. The first flight is not steep at all, but...

Just had the three course set lunch at the manor at Sway. Excellent value given the quality of food and service. I had the poached egg and black pudding (nicely crisp) which was a perfect combination followed by chicken and my husband had smoked salmon and the sea bream. Desserts of pannacotta and chocolate torte were also very good. The...

Well decorated hotel. Our room was on the top floor with splendid views. Warm welcome with tea & cake ( freshly made Victoria sponge ). The room had all the usual tea & coffee making facilities plus a glass dome with macaroon and cupcake. Tasting menu was beyond excellent and Eggs Benedict was a treat for breakfast. The man in...

Appearances can be deceptive. My first thoughts on arrival was that I had made a mistake in booking this hotel for a walking weekend with friends. I couldn't have been more wrong. It was an excellent choice. We were graced with good weather. We made the most of the terrace. We ate in on the Sunday evening. The food was...

My husband and I stayed at the Manor at Sway for three nights to celebrate my birthday. We'd had a tough few months dealing with health issues and were looking for peace and relaxation. We found it here. The Manor itself has beautiful grounds, comfortable lounges, and an excellent chef. Our bedroom (No 4) was very comfortable with a lovely...

Popped in to the Manor at Sway on a beautiful evening. Received a warm and genuine welcome from a gentleman called Tim who I believe is the owner. The terrace has a beautiful aspect and as summer approaches I'm sure it will be brimming over with people relaxing and enjoying the well-considered drinks menu (and indeed food though I've opted...
