We stayed in the Fox Cabin. 'We' being 4 adult women. It was very clean... but as 4 women we found it a bit small. Just one bathroom... but I should have known better when booking it. Kitchen is tiny... but had most of what we needed. Have to say the beds were very comfortable and the linens were beautiful....

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Elk cabin! It was a change from several nights spent in a hotel. There is more space and the decor is unique and interesting. The owner provided us with tasty granola upon arrival. She also offered drinks and delicious cookies at 4 p.m. daily as well as fresh buns and jam...

We stayed for 3N at the Gopher cabin. Though it's a basement unit, there were a few windows at the top to let in natural light. On entering the unit's doorway, one need to go down steps on a narrow stairway to assess the premises proper. We left our big luggage on a cabinet top near the doorway, as it...

Stayed for 2 nights in these beautiful historic cabins. Great welcome from the owners Lloyd and Laura. Lovely living area and fully equipped kitchen and great comfortable bed. Loved the location so close to all the lovely shops and restaurants. Breakfast was fine as were the homemade cookies and lemonade served every afternoon Sad not to have been able to...

My second stay here, the first time was on a Canadian motorcycle trip with my son in 2010, this time however I stayed with my wife who loved it here. Laura and Lloyd who run the cabins have great empathy for the historical significance of them and their place in the story of Banff's growth as a tourist town. The...

Our cottage, the bear cottage, was charming and spacious. The location, just one street off the main street of Banff, was perfect. We could literally walk out the front door of our cottage and be in the center of Banff within a couple of minutes. Hospitable hosts, inviting accommodations and magnificent location: we loved this spot. I would definitely return.

I tend to like 5 star hotels or charming, off the beaten path, historic properties that have some good character. I dislike all of the generic stuff in between those extremes. I am sitting in the kitchen of the Cougar Suite as I write this review and I am beyond impressed. This cabin was built in 1912 - and it...

What a fabulous stay! The location is SO great - just one block off Banff Avenue so you don't need to move the car and search for a parking spot. The parking spot itself is worth an excellent rating. We spent two nights in the Elk cabin. With just two of us as traveling companions there was more than enough...

Located just one street away from the main strip, Banff Beaver Cabins is a charming oasis, away from the hustle of town but close enough to easily seek creature comforts. The cabins themselves are simple yet well-appointed and comfortable. The grounds, with their well-placed chairs and gazebo, make a lovely spot to relax with a good book or an afternoon...

My husband and I stayed in the Lynx Cabin for our honeymoon. While definitely cozy, it was definitely enough space for the two of us. The cabins are less than a block from the visitor's center and easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Banff, though noise-wise you could never tell! We were constantly amazed by Laura...
