Stayed at the King Edward for three nights in August 2015 and paid close to $800! The hotel has the greatest location - Close to restaurants, shopping, and the outdoor lifestyle that keeps drawing me back to Banff. The hotel is also very clean! However, the hotel could use a few upgrades - specifically in sound proofing. Overall, you end...

King Edward has a great location on main street surrounded by shops, restaurants and many attractions. Public bus stop is directly out front and only costs $2 per person, arrives every 20 minutes and will take you to Gondola, Banff Springs Hotel or hot springs. The hotel itself is very basic, no restaurant attached and was what I would consider...

So my night here was eventful. Our thermostat broke as soon as I touched it. Started hissing air and was very startling. But it all got sorted out quickly. As we were walking to go out we came along a couple. The guy was choking the girl with the door open so we stepped in and stopped it. After calming...

Ok I did needed to add a day to my vacation, so I rushed into this.I realized I'd made a mistake when I opened the hotel main door expecting a lobby, but no, only a small desk behind a glass enclosure like an old movie. Not enough room for more than 3 people standing there. Bottom line is you are...

Came on a busy weekend which is probably why the value was not there. Very expensive for what you get. The hotel is dirty and very, very dated and smells musty. Very little has been done to update this place for likely 20 years. The "carpet" was worn and dirty, the floor creaked, the room had a fridge but no...

This town is spendy, as well as the lodging. This hotel was one of few we could afford and one available at the very last minute. The parking garage being around the block means you have to walk your belongings and bags around the street to the entrance. But it was clean and had amenities we needed. Right in town...

The hotel itself is quite old and a bit shabby, but we had a good time. Couldn't beat the price and location. They required us to pay when we checked in which meant checking out was super quick and easy. Window overlooking the main drag was nice, staff were friendly. Beds could have been more comfortable and the bathrooms could...

We never got the room cooled down. There was a loud thumping noise, maybe a band, through much of the night. And we could hear other guests in the hall, walls too thin! We did like the ice bucket. It was well located on the main stream.

I booked this place the night before, for a one night stay after going snowboarding 🏂. It's right smack in the middle of town. I parked for free in the bear street parkade behind the hotel. It's a small place. The room is perfect for a single person or couple. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, layout was fine. The...

We received a warm welcome from the front desk agent, who's friendliness and professionalism came across very naturally. The hotel is conveniently located right in the middle of town, and we were happy to find the free parking situated right behind the hotel (they also offer paid garage parking). The Queen Room we stayed in was clean, quiet, and the...
