We never got the room cooled down. There was a loud thumping noise, maybe a band, through much of the night. And we could hear other guests in the hall, walls too thin! We did like the ice bucket. It was well located on the main stream.

I booked this place the night before, for a one night stay after going snowboarding 🏂. It's right smack in the middle of town. I parked for free in the bear street parkade behind the hotel. It's a small place. The room is perfect for a single person or couple. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, layout was fine. The...

We received a warm welcome from the front desk agent, who's friendliness and professionalism came across very naturally. The hotel is conveniently located right in the middle of town, and we were happy to find the free parking situated right behind the hotel (they also offer paid garage parking). The Queen Room we stayed in was clean, quiet, and the...

The hotel is more or less right in the middle of everything on Banff Ave. However wth that you will hear noise from surrounding bars and nightclubs. We didn't experience it too badly but we did hear the occasional snare drum beat the bar kitty corner the hotel. Also, there is parking in a parkade near by but you have...

Disgustingly loud people til 3am in the morning, staff in the hallways banging as well at the crack of dawn, weird fan/machine noises through the night... Just not good at all. I see why it was $49 a night U.S. I gave it 2 stars because you cannot beat the location, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. I...

The hotel is conveniently located, the room/hallways were clean, the beds (2 single beds is what we chose) were comfortable, and the amenities (e.g. toiletries, tea/coffee) were acceptable. We also had a decent price, comparatively speaking, for a Saturday night in ski season. The downside to this hotel is that the location/price attract a younger crowd who don't hesitate to...

We spent a night in Banff at King Edward Hotel. The rooms were clean. The hotel is located on main street and the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for a great deal and if you just need a room to sleep as there is no point to be in Banff to stay in your room, this hotel...

The hotel was clean, not super fancy but no complaints. Reception was helpful and friendly. The location is exceptional, central Banff. The price is super affordable. Location and price are their high points.

Like other reviewers, we agree that the location cannot be beat. The rooms are adequate. The room we stayed in had a broke bed frame and despite the efforts of the young night manager, it could not be fixed. Due to this condition as well as concern about my senior mother navigating the elevator (you use a key) we neede...

The service desk was average. Not too friendly but not rude. It was a long wait before we could get our room even though we got there on time. The view from the room was great, and the service help for navigation was excellent. One of the worst parts about this hotel was that there was no fridge in our...
