We stayed here for 3 nights during our Canadian tour and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very well situated for walking into the many restaurants and bars that Banff has to offer. Externally the hotel fits very well into the surrounding mountain landscape although inside it is a wee bit shabby here and there - including the bedroom....

This was a nice hotel with great location in the middle of Banff. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was fine, the room was nice with comfy beds, though we couldn't figure out why the temperature was somewhat toasty (though we solved it by opening the windows). The restaurant was surprising as the meatballs (the specialty of the restaurant)...

This is a nice hotel in a great location. Underground parking is good, with the elevator available to take you up, right from the parking level. Good wifi connection and the room was very good - nice and clean. The included breakfast was very good and I had dinner there as well - also very good. It was more expensive...

We stayed for 2 nights on our Rockies tour. we where both very impressed with the service, cleanliness, breakfasts, and helpfulness of the staff. We did have an issue with the pay per view but the staff were very helpful and i'm pleased we had no issues getting a full refund.

Pros: Great location, nice staff, comfy bed, clean room, underground parking and a great breakfast buffet with omelet bar. Cons: Request a corner room as the walls are paper thin. Hallways very dated. Need paint and new flooring. Rooms are a bit tired but clean. Take the elevator or you'll get lost in stairwells. It's a bit of a maze....

We stopped for 1 night at this hotel as part of a luxury tour across the Canadian Rockies. This was a huge disappointment. It seems that the hotel caters to bus tours. The rooms are mediocre, unable to control the temperature. The room was hot, but there was no screen on the sliding glass doors. The room stayed hot. The...

Booked a last minute room for one night when we decided to stay over, nice hotel. Room was clean, beds were comfy. We had a tiny balcony facing another hotel but the room next to us had a window in there room staring right out at our balcony. That was a bit odd. Centrally located, walking distance to the supermarket...

On checking in we were given an upgrade to a nice big room, slightly dated but comfortable. The hotel is in a good location on Banff Avenue. The breakfast and Internet were included in the cost of our stay but both were disappointing. We kept loosing the Internet connection and the breakfasts were very very poor.

I enjoyed my stay here! The staff were very helpful. The rooms were a little dated, but had everything we needed, and it's not like Banff is a super modern town, anyway. Great location! You can walk to cave and basin, walk to the falls, walk to all the restaurants. It's right on the main drag. It has free parking...

We found Banff altogether very disappointing - touristy and crowded - we wouldn't advise anybody to go there. This hotel was fine, if a bit tired. Our room was one of those with the bathroom in between the two beds - very strange and a bit dark if you did want to use the second bed. There was no air...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. The room you are describing is a split room which some guests prefer due to having a little added privacy between the beds but we do also offer rooms with the beds side by side. Banff is a beautiful town but it can get very busy in the summer. To...
