We have been to the Douglas Fir for the past 3 years with our daughter who is now 4 years old, and we have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. The playzone climbing gym itself is worth the price of the room for us - our daughter has enjoyed it from the time she was 2 up to now, finding new ways...

we stayed two nights but they put us above the automatic garage door and although not too loud, it was bothersome. kitchen was not properly cleaned when we arrived and a long streak of something that had fallen over the stove door was visible and yucky water slides were ok since they were included in the room price but we...

We stayed at the new family suite, 3 bedrooms with 4 bath. The space was great, didn't have to fight over bathrooms :) My husband left behind his watch and found out when we were on our way to the airport, called back to the hotel and they very kindly handled the return back to us by courier. Great bunch...

We stayed in a 3 bedroom chalet which was nice but the master bedroom was way too small. The kitchen was small as well but it had a dishwasher! Apparently, the water slides were awesome. It was nice to have a fireplace in the room and a newspaper delivered to the door in the morning. The trip to town was...

We stayed here for 6 days in a studio. The room itself was very large and had a full size refrigerator, a stove, dishwasher, toaster, sink and eating/cooking utensils (in addition to the obligatory microwave and coffee maker). There were some great activities/facilities for kids but since we didn't travel with any, that wasn't much benefit. (The pool is very...

We have been going to the Douglas Fir for many years now, The rooms are comfortable, and if you have kids the pool and waterslides make it a great location It's in a good location for hiking (trails behind the hotel). If I had any issues this trip, it would be that the check in staff were officious and serious...not...

We've been going to the Douglas Fir Resort for a weekend once or twice a year since our son was 2. It's perfect for families - we usually stay in the one bedroom condo which is so nice as we can close the door to the bedroom and then stay up later than our son. The kitchen is so nice...

Stayed here for two nights in July, 4 adults 2 children, we were in a condo with the loft, works very well lots of room and the balcony was great for sitting out with a glass of wine ,overlooking a mountain. My grandaughters loved the pool with the large slides and no trouble with other kids. Note if you need...

We stayed here with our 3 year old for two nights. The room was nice and clean and offered a great view. We were in a condo plus loft room. The water slides and pool were fun and very clean, only problem was some bigger rougher kids without parental supervision made us leave one day. The beds were nice and...

We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in August. The room is spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is a bit far away to walk to and from the town centre. We did not try the free shuttle bus. The water slides were children's favourite. We would stay here...
