We stayed at the Banff Aspen Lodge for a ski holiday over Christmas and New Year. The location was great, close to town and to the ski shuttle stop. Breakfast was included and was fairly varied, even though we stayed for 11 nights. Compared to America, rooms are not massive. We had an upgrade to a superior room but the...

We stayed here at the end of October and had a fabulous stay. Hot tubs were fab, breakfast was lovely ( the best granola ever!), breakfast staff great and location brilliant. Room was fine for the price, the only niggle was the lack of wardrobe space- if we had been staying for a week it would have been a challenge!

Although the hotel was in a great location, breakfast was good and the outdoor hot tubs were a fantastic end to the days in Banff, there were a number of things that let down our stay. After checking in we let reception know that one of our lamps were not working, the other was dangerous and sparking when you turned...

When we arrived at 3:00pm, the room was not ready even though that is the time check ins begin. We had to wait about 10 minutes before we were told the room was ready. When we went upstairs there was a housekeeper still in the room for another five minutes while we awkwardly waited in a doorway. Not that big...

We stayed at the banff aspen lodge 4 years ago and said we would come back. We have, and have been really impressed that the hotel has been kept current and modern. Love the addition of whitebark coffee shop that was a gift shop 4 years ago. Beds and rooms very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff are lovely. We...

I had a room on the third floor overlooking the hot tubs, very comfortable bed and very quiet. The breakfast in the room downstairs had lots of selection, home made muffins were delicious and service was excellent. I recommend this hotel.

My fiancé and I stayed here Jan 1 to 3 2017, we had a rough start to our stay with a bad phone confrontation with a front desk clerk Alesha. We had called a month before asking for an upper floor we were told call a few days before check in! When we called and spoke with Alesha we're treated...

My fiancé and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved the location, breakfast and outdoor hot tub. However both nights we had horrible sleeps on the uncomfortable hard mattress. We asked the front desk to change rooms but they said all mattresses were the same. I would love to stay here again but a good nights sleep is...

Hello Amanda, Thank you very much for your review and for your feedback regarding our mattresses. We do have new Serta Mattresses in each of our rooms with a medium firmness to try to accommodate as many people as possible, it is unfortunate to hear that you did not find them comfortable. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed...

Hello Stephen, Thank you very much for your review. It has been a cold winter so far and I completely agree that it is very cold to get out of the hot tubs, I hear it helps with blood flow. We do hope that the robes help warm guests up. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast...

This hotel was very lovely. Not to far from everything, nice heated pool to swim outside under the stars at night with a fire place. My husband and I had a lovely honeymoon here. They had different options for room service if you wanted to skip it. My husband and I enjoyed the cafe inside the hotel. The staff was...
