This was our first B&B stop after a night in a hotel in Calgary Airport following our flight, We were ahead of stated check in time but this wasn't a problem and were greeted by our host and given information about the area before being shown to our room. I agree the room was small but had all that we...

Had just commenced a 3 day trip along the Icefields Parkway and Blue Mountain Lodge was a sight for sore eyes. We arrived late in the afternoon and was greeted merrily by a staff ready to check us in. She seemed a zealous ambassador for Banff and was more than happy to give us a few restaurant recommendations, and ended...

This lodge is perfectly situated near both town and hiking trails around Banff, We had an upstairs room, which was funky with the bear skin (liked that!) but very cramped (we expected that some). The negatives were the poor quality and late breakfast (not available until 7:30 - so defeats an early start, and the weird requirement that shoes be...

Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Good buffet breakfasts with fresh fruit, yogurts, warm croissant etc. Rooms very small and even smaller shower facilities. Tired decor in need of revamp. Convenient for town and amenities.

Many of the other 1 star reviews have described accurately the services and conditions in this lodge. I will add a few other observations/opinions: 1. Historic locations can be well maintained and constructed, but this is merely a makeshift patchwork. Laminate flooring, windows held up by sticks, and doors that cover electric switches for example. 2. It is a FIRE...

We arrived in Banff around 5 and went straight to our B&B before doing some sight-seeing. The accommodations were acceptable but the quarter were very cramped. We were in Unit #10 which had a single and a double bed, tv, sink and the bathroom had room for a toilet and tiny shower. I had read the reviews but did not...

This historic property is on a quiet corner about equidistant from Banff Avenue where most of the restaurants, bars and retail shops are located and the pedestrian bridge over the Bow River at the foot Muskrat Street so it is a short walk to many attractions around the town including the Bow River Falls. The breakfasts are more generous than...

I was traveling alone to attend a conference at the Banff Centre The Blue Mountain Lodge was walkable to the conference, it was close to the center of Banff and very accessible to sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful to get me oriented and to recommend local sights. The room was clean and perfect for my needs. At...

We stayed at the Blue Mountain Lodge for 4 nights and truly enjoyed the experience! When you walk in the front door you feel like you're stepping into a good friend's rustic summer home. It's cozy, homey and smells like freshly baked cookies! The rooms have themed decor - we stayed in the Beaver room which featured a decorative log...

My husband and I stayed for 1 night and we really enjoyed the place. The room was cozy, a bit small but perfect for a short stay (In Banff, you mainly want to be outdoor anyways!) Very homey and friendly service! Pascal, the owner, was happy to share tips and ideas for touring the area. We really felt the passion...
