We had friends from Ontario come visit for a week. They have never been to the mountains so we decided to surprise them with a 2 nights stay in the beautiful town of Banff. We booked via the internet, read the reviews which a lot of people complain about but for the price, we decided to give it a try....

Banff is a popular tourist destination so as expected most of the hotels are pricey. So, when I found this hotel with only $109- /night with 2 queen sized beds I booked it right away. It looks simple and old from the outside but their rooms were spacious, clean, complete with a TV, fridge, coffee maker and most of all...

This place is worth the money in every area. It gets five stars as it delivers what it says and with more. Customer reception entry is welcoming and the staff are exceptional and look after you. Roms are large and spacious, clean and adequate. Its not a five star registered establishment but in exceeds the stars it has. As a...

This is a very basic motel which is good for a couple of nights but no longer. It obviously relies on its central location to draw in guests. The rooms are adequate at best; there is no lift to the second or third floor. You can use the pool and hot tub in the Banff Springs opposite (they own this...

A budget motel in an expensive town. The room was spacious, with two beds which were very comfortable. Carpets on stairs, in hallways and in the room had seen better days, but for the rest all was very clean and tidy. The staff at reception very friendly and gave excellent service. The location of this motel is conveniently close to...

We stayed at the Homestead Inn "budget" hotel in Banff, Alberta for 3 nights at the end of August because it was one of the only hotels that allows dogs and we wanted to take our dog along on this trip. Since it was high season in Banff when we went, there were no other hotels to switch too, unless...

Dear Ksm2001, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it’s apparent in this case that we fell short. Since your departure we have been working very...

Location is the only reason why I am rating it as average. The location is central and it is a short walking distance to restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is old and in any other city aside from banff, the price would have been considered outrageous. The room was hot with no air conditioning. We were lucky that the...

Rooms very outdated and the beds were awful, they had sinkholes they looked so old. The toilet was not cleaned properly in a long time. Had to come in and flush the toilet , yuck! Black in toilet under the rim. Gross ! 😝 We were tired and stayed one night . Told the girl at the front desk how...

Very basic room. Absoloutley no luxuries. Staff pleasant and helpful and great central location. Not good value for money but a lot cheaper than most Banff hotels. Much more like a motel than a hotel. Sister hotel across the road gave more luxury. Free car parking was handy.

Went to check-in at about 6:30 and front desk was vacant. Waited 10 minutes and staff member came back with her meal to sit down and eat. Motel style room that encourages you not to stay in it. Carpet stained and dirty, marks on walls, in need of full refurbishment. Old TV, uncomfortable double, could not get out of their...
