We would live to tell you about our stay but we did not get to spend any time there. The only offering in the email notification was to check Kayak or Expedia fro alternate arrangements. We found that entirely unsatisfactory.

I highly advise against staying here. Mountain Home Bnb does not care about their customers/future guests. They only care about making money. Here's why: My friend and I reserved a room at the Mountain Home BnB through Airbnb in Feb 2017. The reservation was for 6 nights in July 2017. I'd like to stress that this was 5 months in...

The B and B is in an ideal location for exploring Banff. You can walk to anywhere in town and not have to park somewhere else, a real benefit during summer months. Our room was clean and nicely decorated with many antiques. It is an older house with narrow hallways and stairs. The breakfast was good, with nice variety and...

We had two nights here in August, staying in the Buffalo Mountain Room. This downstairs room is big, with a good sized bathroom. They ask that you leave your shoes in a cupboard in the front hallway (slippers are provided if you want). This was fine - but a little cramped if more than one couple were in there. Comfortable...

Room was so pretty and it SPARKLED with cleanliness. Had everything we needed, very cozy and romantic. Innkeeper made delicious breakfast, every detail in place. We asked for and got some directions, but she didn't really visit or offer conversation unless asked. Maybe she was giving us privacy. 2 blocks from all shopping and restaurants.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very happy we did. We stayed in one room two nights and another the next two nights). The beds, linens, pillows and bathrooms were fresh and very comfortable. Huge bathrooms with large tubs. Firm comfortable beds with fresh pillows and linen. The house is very well maintained. All utilities --water, heat, light,...

Having never been to Banff before and booking a place online you are always a little worried what you might get. We pulled into MountainHome which is in the middle of a residential street and were so relieved. It's a darling bed and breakfast run by Lynn and her husband. There are only 4 rooms and ours was the Norquay....

I guess I hadn't quite realized we'd be staying in somebody's house... Our room was not huge, but was nice and well appointed; however we never really felt at ease, there was always the feeling that we were intruding or somehow just being tolerated. It starts off with the requirement that you take your shoes off upon entering, which a...

We arrived to check in at 11.30. The owner, Lynne was very abrupt. No Goodmorning, instead she was quite annoyed with us. She pointed out to the sign saying check in is between 5.00 to 6.30. We asked her if we can leave our baggage. She asked us if we had a car. We said yes. She said So........ We...

We've stayed in more than 100 b & b's, so are probably more critical than most b & b reviewers. We spent two nights here. The location is great---on a quiet residential street, but only two short blocks from Banff's main shopping street, numerous restaurants, and attractions---all within walking distance. The house has its own parking in the rear, and...
