This is not super deluxe- but don't let that sway you! It is a really amazing place to stay---and everything about it is wonderful. The dining room is brilliant- it was snowing when we were there and it was like being in a snowglobe.

Stayed one night in the newly renovated guest rooms in the Lloyd Hall building. The new rooms are fantastic! Although they are relatively small, these new rooms are very well designed and have everything you need close at hand - a HUGE improvement from the old rooms in this building. Once the renovation is complete (new lobby, exterior, signage, etc.)...

I was very happy to stay here. Everything was clean. Staff was all friendly and accommodating! I loved that the Banff centre is trying to reduce their carbon footprint. I would recommend that anyone who has the chance to stay here takes the opportunity.

While the Banff Center is best known as a conference center, I recently stayed for a couple of nights just for some skiing and relaxation. I had been there previously for a conference but had not enjoyed many of the services such as the restaurants and walking trails. While the room was quite basic, it was clean and tidy. It...

The staff at the Banff Centre are wonderful, so kind, friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time there and I can't thank the staff enough as they area big part of making the experience what it was. The food is the bee knees, I loved it, I'm sure I gained a stone in weight if not more, I tried...

Do not stay at the Banff Centre until the facility, specifically Lloyd hall, has its renovations complete. Very little parking and the rooms are old college dorms they for some reason are continuing to rent out while the complete major renos of the building. No hot water. Lights that don't work. TV that doesn't work. Just stay in the town...

Accommodations, food, staff, and meeting space all perfectly met the needs of our ~50 person conference. Enjoyed the fitness center as well. Arts and incredible surroundings were just icing on the cake.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity during a professional conference that lasted five days. My flight was delayed and I arrived late in the afternoon. Check in was swift and the staff was courteous. My room 387 - the last room on the floor/wing from the elevator - was clean and comfortable....

I am unsure how often it happens but we had attended a conference. The conference rate was a savings of $18/night. We were told we had to book separately and were surprised at checkout with a $15/day/person "facility" fee because we were booked in separately even though I confirmed the price at booking.

Conferences are for everyone, mountains are not. I have physical limitations and this place is outstandingly deficient for people like me. Too many hills, Snow not cleared fast enough, have to go outside and climb a mile ling hill to get to your car etc. There wasn't even a soap shelf in the shower. I couldnt sleep because the whole...

Dear brad714, Thank you very much for posting comments about your recent stay at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. “Several rooms have balconies. Campus has several buildings including restaurants, gallery, wine bar, hosts music and performance events. Fantastic facilities, great pool, climbing wall, fitness centre. 10 minute walk to town. Rooms are kept in good condition. Hiking trails and views in every direction. A different Banff experience from busy downtown.”
