For a brand new hotel this place was a huge disappointment. We stayed in the Summit Grand Suite with Fire Pit, but there was nothing grand about it: poorly laid out, no control over the amount of lighting in bath & bedroom ( all lights on or all off), scratchy bedding, noise from the outside hallway and elevator, and a heating system that sounded at times like a jet aircraft taking off. We were booked to stay for 4 nights but checked out after just 1 night and will never return.

Hotel's Favourite
The Peaks hotel makes for a top-notch destination for any stay in Banff. The location couldn't be better ... convenient to everything in town such as museums, galleries, restaurants and transportation ... as well as for providing really clean and comfortable rooms. I had one of the standard rooms with a view, so had a small balcony that looked out to the Banff Park Lodge and mountains beyond. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable about the area and courteous ... I would highly recommend a stay at the Peaks.

The hotel and the rooms are very clean, quiet and confortable. The staff is responsive, professional and kind. We spent 3 nights with our son in a loft suite with balcony at the Peaks Hotel & Suites and would definitely recommend it for families. The plus is the complimentary car wash facility in the car park. When you have been driving in the snow, it is nice to be able to clean the car. The location also is great, very close to the center and all the restaurants and shops.

We spent 3 nights at the Peaks in Late January and very much enjoyed our stay. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and new and the location was perfect. The only downside was there is not restaurant on site but there were so many right outside the door it really didn't matter. This hotel was perfect for us.

You can't beat the location. Literally right by the center of Banff. Within 1 block to the main strip plus many restaurants. All walkable. Great underground parking. Nice rooms with comfy beds. Very safe and very clean.

Newer, ideally-located property with beautifully appointed rooms, excellent staff and stellar service. So happy we made a last minute decision to ignore those who steered us away from Banff in lieu of its less touristy neighbors. On the contrary, after a week of staying in mostly rustic lodging I really enjoyed our evening in this beautiful, walkable village with numerous dining options and the majestic Rockies as a backdrop. Of course, the Peaks Hotel was a key reason we enjoyed our stay as much as we did, and look forward to returning in the not-too-distant future.

Hotel was very classy looking, clean and nicely located off the main Banff Ave. Bear street was a few steps away and the offerings at their Park lodge made the stay more enjoyable. We got early check-in which was really lovely. I would recommend staying here for anyone visiting Banff.

We stayed at the Peaks Hotel for our 10th anniversary. The staff left us a bottle of wine and sweet decorations in our room. The location of this hotel is fantastic - walkable to downtown shops, coffee and restaurants. Parking spots in the garage were tight and finding a spot got challenging on the weekend, but manageable during this time of year. We stayed in a summit grand suite with the fire pit. The room had ample storage, including a great "drop-off" closet near the front door for winter clothes. Our view was stunning. The windows opened to let in fresh air. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower/tub were fantastic. The only hiccup was that our fire pit wasn't working initially, so while we were out, maintenance came to fix it and left our room unsecured for an unknown amount of time. Fortunately, our things stayed secure as we were one of the only people staying on our floor. Bottom line - I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Banff.…

Really clean. Easy to book, check in and out simple. Great location for dining and shopping. Rooms well appointed, modern and functional. Front desk staff attentive, available and helpful. Definitely will be a choice on our next weekend mountain get away.
