We just got back from 6 days at this boutique hotel and were impressed when we walked in the lobby and as we drove up to see the location. Even though the highway is in front it is below which does not interfere with the views of the mountains. To wake up every morning and

Our room (216) was incredible. End of the hall, 2nd floor, quiet and remarkable view! It was hard to leave. The staff were also incredible! They were always accommodating and even made me a cup of coffee at 6a before the Bistro opened. I really enjoyed staying here. Perfect

The good news about the Juniper is that it is a really nice property with a restaurant that is off the hook good. The bad part is that the service at the place is less than optimal (not the restaurant, though) at the very best. Tried to find out shuttle schedules for skiing, no

I often dine at the Bistro, and I got the opportunity to stay at The Juniper Hotel for 1 night, for a work get together at Mount Norquay. The hotel is located at the base of this mountain, and the shuttle service can take you up top the mountain or downtown for free! Front desk

How noisy is the highway near the hotel? Especially on the south side rooms?
We didn't hear the highway from our room. The highway wasn't heard even from the outside hot tub. Much quieter than staying in the noisy city. Excellent place to stay. Best wishes. Brian Brian

I don't think so. But in fine weather walking to town is not a big deal. Maybe 20 minutes I would guess to Banff Avenue, and the taxi fare cannot be much more than 5 dollars I would imagine
