Situated just a couple of streets away from the centre of Banff, most things are on your doorstep from this B&B. On paper, the £100 per night (inc taxes) we paid for the room was a bit expensive. There was no tv, no tea or coffee maker, and no wardrobe (!) for our 3 night stay. But the room was...

This B&B is 3 blocks away from the main Banff town center, and it's easy to walk without having to worry about parking. The room we had was on the 2nd floor, and faced the street. In all it was a comfortable room, and we had a good night's rest there. The bathroom is huge, but most of it is...

Stayed at the Rocky Mountain B&B in July 2016. The room was small but comfortable and clean and breakfast was really nice. The property is nothing flash and getting up the stairs with luggage was a bit tricky. Not a fan of the shared bathrooms either but I guess that's the downside of finding affordable accommodation in Banff in the...

We stayed in Room 9, one of the basement rooms in this B&B for 4 nights from 19th June. Room was fine for what we needed, a mini kitchen area with a sofa and table, a double bed separated slightly and a shower/toilet room. Breakfast was served in the main room in the house and was a good start to...

My 2 friends and I stayed here during a hiking trip to the rockies - we each booked a separate room with shared bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed using the shared living space downstairs each night to discuss our adventures of the day and get caught up on the news. The host was very friendly and helpful,...

Stayed here for three nights with my husband whilst visiting the Icefields Parkway. we were given a room in the basement, it was quite large with a kitchenette, lounge and private bathroom. Breakfast was served from 8-9 and the three mornings we were there we had breakfast burritos, bacon and eggs, and English muffins with eggs. The breakfast room was...

We had the large room on the 3rd floor. Very spacious with separate bedroom and 2 single beds in the living area. Great location just 3 short blocks from Banff Ave. Delicious home-cooked breakfast. Staff very responsive. A good value in Banff.

This bed and breakfast is just lovely! It really made me feel like home. Everything was cozy and a common area had tea, coffee and some pastries all day. Comfortable bed and clean shared restrooms were provided. The breakfast served by friendly staff was marvelous and had a nice variety of foods and drinks served in very chaming tables either...

We stayed at this cosy place for a couple of nights during our trip to Banff over a weekend in March. We stayed in the basement suite because that was the only one available at that time. The room was quite big, clean and well maintained. The BnB is located only a few blocks away from the Banff downtown area...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are an intimate high-country inn situated three blocks east of Banff Avenue on Otter Street in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The building dates from 1907 and has 10 guest rooms and a gorgeous main lounge and dining room. We use excellent ingredients, serve locally roasted organic coffee and vary our menu daily. This historic mountain home is warm and spacious. It was used extensively in the '30s by CPR work crews as a boarding house. For the following forty years it was known as Douglas House and served as tourist accommodation. The Inn was fully restored in the late '80s and has had recent renovations to maintain its original character and substantial mountain charm. We have four suites, which suit small families, as well as simple and elegant double rooms. Our dining room and lounge are open to guest use during the day and there is a television in the lounge. We have private off-street parking to accommodate guests with vehicles. However, once you are in Banff many activities and walks are accessible by foot from the B&B. ... more   less
