We had the lodge to the front which had a bedroom, living room and kitchen. We only stayed here for 2 nights. I had family staying somewhere else is banff that wished they stayed at Elkhorn. It was nice to be out of the town but near enough to walk. Cant fault anything and would stay again.

Lovely accommodation, recommend to all- singles, couples, families! We stayed for 3 nights... Rooms, bedding & towels are very clean & well presented. Lucia is a warm, wonderful host who makes you feel like you're coming home to family- she provides great advice for hiking and sight-seeing attractions, and is very friendly. Lodge has free parking and 5 minutes walk... More

We enjoyed our stay at Elkhorn lodge very much. Lucia was. Very friendly and gave us helpful instructions. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed, would definitely stay here again when in Banff.

Nice place to stay at affordable price. The room was neat and decent. Ms Lucia received us well and shared good information about the place like a friend.. The GPS takes to the lodge exactly but have to be mindful of the small road that cuts the pavement and let's you into the road.. This is common across Banff..

We stay here once a year and love it every time! A lot of updating has been done to the rooms, the atmosphere here is great and the manager is very friendly. Our kids absolutely love it and will be coming back every year. Thanks!

I recently stayed at the Elkhorn when in Banff for a conference. It was supposed to be a 3 night stay, but I left after 1 night...not what I expected. Why didn't I check trip advisor?? Because I am usually a positive person I'll start with what I liked about it: 1) the price ($128/night) 2) quiet surroundings 3) friendly... More

Really comfortable place, for any type of visitor. A really nice hostess and very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and everything is clean. Parking available and 10 min from downtown banff. It is really common to see a deer around and there are trails from walking distance.

Location is nice - walking distance to everything, the place has a charm looking from the outside but otherwise not very comfortable. The room was changed on us when we arrived there, but the lady was nice about it and we did not have much of a choice, so we went with it. We got a room with 2 bunk... More

Banff is notoriously expensive, so I was delighted to get a room here for 140 CD. The downside was that there was no breakfast nor microwave, and the walls were thin so you could faintly here TVs in other rooms and footsteps above. Yet, this is a charming little lodge. The lady running it is lovely (even giving me a... More
