It was so nice to stay here after a long day on the road. Very friendly staff and tranquil setting in a good location. Close to Lake Louise and hiking trails. Comfortable room, quiet surroundings and great views. Highly recommended.

Yes, the Outpost (pub at the far end of the Post Hotel) is good.
Get there early to avoid the crowd. I haven't tried the deli at the Chateau, but the restaurants I've tried there were mediocre and expensive.
