It is difficult to get a reservation at this hostel because it is a popular location. We finally stayed here in a private room with a bathroom in early October. The room was very comfortable and quiet for a hostel. The mattresses on the bed and linens were better than average. There was lots of space in our room for...

Presumably due to the limited accommodation options in this area and it's high popularity, this hostel had a wide variety of people staying. They have their own restaurant, a firepit lit some nights and it's an easy 5 minute walk to the village.

We came here six years ago and the lodge met our needs. But not this time. Room was much smaller. It was so so hot. We finally got it cooled down before bed time. We had planned several days between outings to remote mountains and needed wifi. The web page for this hotel say FREE WIFI. Yes, it was free,...

We stayed here for two nights in a shared dorm. We stayed in room 303 which even has double bed. The bed itself was not the best. The matras was thin and the bed old. The showers are not build for tall Dutch people. It is hard to was your hair. The toilet and sink in the room where nice...

We chose to stay here as we wanted budget-friendly accommodation and I think it was good value. The hostel is well located, clean and has a nice atmosphere. The on-site restaurant was lovely and we ate there each night. Some of the staff more friendly than others! The dorm room was nice enough, beds comfortable and quite private as you...

Not more needs mentioning, as everyone knows this is THE hostel in Western Canada, and perhaps all of the country! The location can't be beat, its insanely pretty everywhere you turn, has fantastic hiking, biking, walking trails, and is minutes or a short drive to everything off-property that makes Lake Louise an outdoor dream. Rooms are clean and comfy, especially...

Summertime allows for a great adventure since gondolas are added to the ski lift here. Ask the ticket sales people, if they think it's a good time to go up, based on their TV screen at mid mountain, where the lift drops off. We were there late afternoon and were told it might be better viewing early AM. So planned...

A beautiful building of natural timbers this hostel welcomes the traveler, offering private and dorm rooms, good beds, linens.. an excellent cafe, sauna, laundry, full kitchen for guest use, lockers, freezer and fridge for your food and a lovely setting of lawns and paths. It is not right at the lake but still a great place.

Stayed twice during August 2016 - would have stayed longer but full so book early! Had a private room with a washroom next door. Well kept hostel with very helpful staff. Restaurant is the best place to eat/drink in Lake Louise.

We were a group of 16, and booked 8 months in advance. For US $5500 we got 3 'dorm' rooms and 2 'double' rooms for 8 nights. A dorm room has 4 bunk beds and a loft bed. The doubles also have a loft bed. It works out to US $43/person/night. Usually a hotel room is priced for two people,...
