We visited Baker Creek for our Wedding Anniversary. A short drive to Lake Louise. Our cabin was very cosy and romantic nestled amongst trees and the snow. The open fire place and no TV made for some nice R&R. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was good. All in all a lovely private getaway in our own... More

The Baker Creek Resort is a great getaway location. The property is maintained exceptionally well - the red gravel pathways are raked regularly and even have perfect circular patterns raked into them. This attention to detail is amazing. Our stay in a loft chalet was cozy and comfortable. The beds were warm and comfortable, the fireplace was set with kindling... More

A two hour easy drive from the Calgary airport. Although the cost for a group of between two and seven people travelling in a single vehicle pays C$19.60 for a day's pass, the parks and the roads are so pristine you'll actually feel good about contributing. Pass through the town of Banff on your way and stock up on your... More

We stayed here for four nights. It is a good location to visit the Banff, Lake Louise and Kootenay area. We stayed in one of the lodge suites. Ours had a very specious living with a lovely private balcony and a really small bathroom. The staff is very friendly, but dining here is quite expensive. Since your kitchen has full... More

We three women loved our cabin in the woods. I don't think I have ever seen a better maintained property or been welcomed more warmly by the host. These 25 or so cabins are a few miles South of Lake Louise and tucked away next to Baker Creek. We rented a 2 bedroom with 1 queen and two twin beds.... More

If you have always dreamed of staying in a log cabin in the woods, but don't like the prospect of roughing it or insects, this is the place for you! Absolutely gorgeous location surrounded by pines, the prospect of Canadian wildlife A-listers wandering by (as in bears, not Bryan Adams) and right by the creek - if you leave the... More

We had a great stay. We were there 4 nights in one of the log cabins. It was quiet, well maintained and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant 3 nights. I loved the spinach salad and the pasta with mushrooms. Great service and helpful staff, with hikes to check out. When booking Lake Louise, I didn't realize there was no... More

Bakewr Creek chalets have a great location, between Lake Louise and Banff on the parkway, this was our third visit The rooms are great ( but can be a little dark ) and have everything you could possibly need for a quiet stay, with great scenery and hiking on your doorstep... perfect for a get away from it all vacation... We stayed here in Sept 2012 (it's taken so long to write this review) for 5 nights. We're so glad we chose this place, as when we decided to get Married at Moraine Lake, the lodge proved a great place for our pre-ceremony photos. The lodge, the creek, it was just amazing. Ideal location for travelling up and down the... More

Baker Creek Mountain Lodge is on the Bow Valley Parkway about seven miles south of Lake Louise. There are two lodge buildings with about 24 rooms each and a number of large cabins or homes in the adjoining woodlands. The rooms have a log and pine décor with a bear theme everywhere. Our room on the upper floor of one... More
