We were showing a friend from New Zealand our part of Canada & the Rockies. Stayed 1 night. (The Lodge ended up being HER Favorite stay of her 3 week holiday) I had been many years ago. Again not disappointed. We appreciate Heritage Hotels, Peace & Quiet. They have done a great job of caring the Lodge for so many...

We stayed one night at the Num-Ti-Jah Lodge and it was wonderful in every way. The views are to die for - stunning. The location, at the shore of the Bow Lake and below the Crowfoot Glacier is absolutely what you go to the Rockies for. The Lodge is of a heavy timber construction and is great fun. It nestles...

I don't normally write reviews, but I haven't experienced something so overpriced with such horrible service as I did here. We had driven past this lodge a couple of times and decided to give it a try for our anniversary given the Bow Lake and hiking options surrounding the lodge. If I knew I was going to be charged through...

Your enjoyment of a stay at Num-ti-jah will depend on whether you mind paying (a lot) for location only, rather than good service or great food. Num-ti-jah is a lovely building and was once a great lodge. It now feels slightly neglected and is run more or less as a youth hostel and tourist attraction. You do get your own...

We stopped in for supper on our way through. Stunning location, average food and very overpriced for the quality. Lodge is very interesting. Stop for the view and history, save your money for better options.

This lodge has 25 rooms and is constructed of wood. It can be pricey (book well ahead for deals). Breakfasts are very expensive so, if you are traveling South, skip them and head for Bill Peyto's Cafe, next to the Hostel in Lake Louise Village, about 20 minutes drive away. The rooms are old world style and the walls and...

We stayed only for one night on our way to Jasper but the stay was great. The staff was very helpful and the room nice and cozy (no TV or Internet, just old wood furniture and lodge feeling). The walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors sometimes which wasn't bad for us because ours were very quiet...

The location of this, yes, charming and slightly dowdy, lodge is perfect. Away from the bustle of Banff and Lake Louise, and significantly closer to the amazing ice fields of Banff/Jasper parks. An easy walk along spectacular Bow Lake - to the falls if you want a challenge - is just outside. Dinner and breakfast came with friendly and good...
