We usually have great service and prices are normally good. However during the stampede the price of the room is crazy high and our service was poor. We were very disappointed on this stay. If your going to increase your price you should increase your service.

For $358 CAD / night, I expected better. Yes, the hotel was nice, the room spacious, the location was good for the Stampede (but we used our car anyway instead of walking because we had reserved parking included in the Parade Day Kick-Off Package), But I wouldn't stay there again for those prices. Didn't make use of the amenities because...

The hotel seems to specialise in businesses and conferences, this meant that some evenings the pool area was taken over completely by a big group. The modern art work everywhere was fantastic. The hotel is within walking distance of the main shopping street, restaurant area and within easy reach of the Calgary tower.

Outdoor Pool is a must during the summer months. Raw bar is my favourite restaurant to dine in the whole city. You need to check out the Friday specials - 99 cent oysters and 4.99 prosecco! The beds are the most comfortable beds i have EVER slept in. Location - Walking distance to Stephen Ave, Train station and 17th. Staff...

This is my go to place when I want to have a mini-vacation in town. It's the only place in Calgary you can grab a drink by an outdoor pool and has an awesome pool scene. The cocktails are top notch and the food is very well done. Has a very LA vibe but in the middle of downtown Calgary....

Over priced seeing how I requested the soaker tub room and never received it. King suite is $249 a night there was nothing special about it, other than thee amazing bed. Could use patio furniture on the patio.

Overall, the Hotel offers an unique venue and I do recommend the Hotel. Rooms are clean, and housekeeping attentive. Yellow Door restaurant can be rather a hit and miss depending on the time of day a guest eats. Dinner is fine except for the loud drinking at the bar which the bar attendant makes no effort to calm the noise....

Good afternoon, and thank you for taking the time to respond to our post-stay survey. It is feedback such as this that allows us to constantly improve our service and amenities. I assure you that your comments have been shared with our team in Yellow Door, and that their dedication to service is such that this situation should be unacceptable....

Yes the rooms were nice; we enjoyed the balcony and the extra large tub. Unfortunately our expectations were not even close to being met in your pool area or restaurant as you now call it. There were no loungers like in your photo so we were unable to lay in the sun and relax. When we wanted to order some...

stayed 2 nights. Had a glitch with booking through Expedia and the hotel staff were MORE than willing to fix it ! Very friendly and had an amazing sleep. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are very cool. A little noise from the pool area on the Saturday but not enough to be a bother.

I think Fine, good, Ok are all suitable descriptions. There was nothing wrong with my stay but absolutely nothing was above average. I was there on business for only night so it did the trick. Location was good for what I needed. The gym was good, modern and enough equipment for a hotel gym. Room was fine.
