Had the pleasure of experiencing the hospitality of Lou and Helly while on a recent visit to Calgary. The bed was comfortable, the room was well appointed, the space was private with our own bathroom and the breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. The house is...More
Amazing b and b in Calgary! Best we have ever stayed in ever! Very hospitable and friendly and also extremely helpful. If we had questions about the city they were helpful. They had a very clean home both inside and outside!
If you are looking for a small, intimate, immaculate place, this is for you! Hellie's house is spotless. We had a baby with us and not been the most tidy of people we felt a little 'in the way' or afraid to make a mess!...More
Very nice couple. House is beautiful and spotless, rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Great location just out of city. This is a good starting point if you want to visit Calgary for a few days before going to the Rockies. Very highly recommended.
We had the pleasure of staying for two nights during the Stampede. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with a made to order delicious breakfast. I will definitely be company back next time I visit Calgary.

It's not close, but it's very easy to get there - the B&B is about 10 minutes walk away from the Sirocco Drive metro station, and from there it's only $3 for a Calgary Transit ride into downtown. The Stampede Grounds are on the southern side of downtown and have stations nearby. What you will need to do is take the blue line into downtown, and then change to the red line at any downtown station (at no additional cost) which will take you to the Stampede Grounds in no time at all! There are only two lines of the metro so it's very easy to navigate, and an easy way to get around Calgary.

"Apparently the area does not let B&Bs put out signs. When we arrived at the house we weren't sure..."
