Place needs updating. By far the scariest elevators I been on to date. A lot of homeless around hotel always begging for money. Just looks kinda dirty and grungy but so does all of Edmonton. Most likely won't stay here again

My room was clean and comfortable. Noise was no different than any downtown hotel in a busy city. I hardly encountered staff but the housekeeping staff i did come across in halls were very welcoming as were front staff. Hotel is older, and location is close to good shopping and dining but a fair walk ftom the main conference center...

If you tired and weary form travel, this is not the place for you. My first 12 seconds on the property was witnessing two bums fighting right in the front door. Second my room wasn't ready and we called an hour before we got there, finally I get to my room and the TV is whacked, called for repair to...

Kind of shabby rooms, phone didn't work, etc. Three of my ceiling light bulbs were out and when I requested that they be replaced someone showed up with a single light bulb and just handed it to me. Heater/AC and fan did not work. Phones went down two of the three nights I was there. Location is good, though: connected...

For business travellers, like myself, the Sutton Place Edmonton has a great location. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel itself is nice, although possibly in need of some minor renovations. The rooms are fully functional, but at 320 sq. ft., rather small. My only complaint was the noise - specifically, noise from ambulance and police sirens....

I was skeptical when I read reviews online, however, this place is more than amazing. Clean and comfortable room. Room service is excellent. Also, I had my guest coming from Germany to stay with me and she absolutely loved this place. Andrew at front desk arranged a room with view and gave us a bottle of wine. I could not...

I was incredibly nervous when I first booked this hotel because of other reviews but the first thing I noticed when I walked in was that the lobby was stunning. My flight had landed really early so I arrived at 9:30am, and obviously there were no clean rooms. The front desk staff were so great, and held my bag for...

This is a nice hotel, good service at the front desk, a little bit old but rooms are spacious. I like that is close to the city centre and you can do good shopping, also close to bus station. Should consider on refurbishing rooms to give a new look, it needs it. Houskeeping was good too

The good. Friendly welcome from staff on arrival, comfy beds and pillows. The bad. Quality of room service food, very poor. We ordered 2 expensive but not very good salads and were generously provided with one roll between us. The ugly. We went for breakfast in the restaurant, it was quite a bizarre experience. We waited some minutes at the...

3 days with no hot water now. 12 days with no change of sheets. No market or vending machines. Stained, nasty bedding and carpet. Slow elevators and you aren't allowed to use the stairs or you set off the alarms. No washing machines. Stay somewhere else.
