What a beautiful place. About 1.5 miles/ 2 km from Jasper town on the banks of the Athabasca River this is a beautiful place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pay phone, ice machine, soft drinks vending machine and other snack items available from the shop. Hot pool available and reasonable wifi (not high speed). The cabins are amazing and turned...

Stayed one night at the king bedroom suite, room is spacious, comfy and clean. There's a fireplace in the room but no wood was provided, you can buy woods from the front desk. Since wifi is extremely slow (only one device per room allowed for connection), I sat by the window from 6-9pm and again from 4-7am hoping to see...

Can't add much more to what visitors have already said and lauded about this 'resort'. It's fantastic! Grounds tidy, checkin/out seamless, friendly, helpful with queries. Sitting across the road on Adirondacks watching/listening to the Athabasca River, listening to the trees: it's over the top serene and quieting! They have wildlife cameras on the perimeter of the property and put up...

Only a couple minute drive from the town of Jasper. Very friendly/accommodating staff, and beautiful rooms. I really enjoyed the last two nights I spent here, and would absolutely come back next time I visit Jasper.

Just spend four nights in Alpine, and it's the best cabins I have ever stayed. All the crucial utensils from plates to glasses, pots to knifes, you name it, are included in the cabin, with great kitchenette and simple seasonings for cooking. Just need to bring food, and you can make a pretty good meal with the utensils provided. Oven,...

This was my third visit to Jasper, and each time (1984, 2009, 2017) it gets better and better. The location, just outside of the town on the Athabasca River, feels remote enough even though you are a short 2-minute drive into town. Loved sitting by the river, watching the rafters float along. Many short driving excursions, walks, bike rides that...

We booked two family cabins (doing so 6 months earlier, as soon as reservations opened because we know these are popular cabins) and were extremely happy with our lodgings. Newer construction, the cabins have granite counters, luxury bathrooms (heated floor), rustic log cabin walls and both cabins had a wood burning fireplace. Get wood from the office (and newspaper and...

Book early as we did not get our first choice cabin, but it did not affect our stay. We had the perfect location overlooking the grass, and we could see the river in the distance. With just the two of us it was the perfect size. We were only a couple of minutes from downtown Jasper, but out in the...

We spent 3 nights at the Alpine Village Resort near Jasper this past August. During our 2 week trip to the Canadian Rockies, Vancouver and Victoria it was the least expensive lodging we stayed in. And, it was our favorite. Comforable, cozy, tidy, friendly staff, idyllic setting, convenient location. One morning I wanted to soak in the hot tub. It...

I am writing this review in December 2016, six months after visiting the place! Missed writing about it I guess... but the memories are so vivid! Every moment is etched in my memory... The Cabins were extremely beautiful and rustic!! The river running alongside... We had two bedrooms and a living room.. completely equipped. Drove to town for dinner and...
