Not a bad place but would not be my first choice again. It was very hard to get the bathroom door to open with the push button lock that they had. It took a few tries before it opened. Bathrooms were ok ladies had 3 stalls (very tight) and 1 shower, men's had 2 stalls a shower and a urinal....

Why have a noise curfew when you don't enforce it? Been here two nights now and this is the noisiest campground I have ever stayed at. And I feel sorry for people with larger units, they are jammed in together like a parking lot. It's a pretty location, but I wouldn't come here again, there must be something else around...

We found this treed campsite very enjoyable. The staff were pleasant, the bathrooms clean and the security commendable. We enjoyed the walking trail along the river which is adjacent to the campground. Thumbs up for this one.

When I read previous reviews of people complaining about quite time at 10:00 pm every night, I knew that I had found a good campground. The staff are great, facilities good, and peace and quiet at night. No party animals....this is the place for me.....

I am a camper and live across the river from this campground. My step daughter and her husband and 3 kids spent the Canada Day weekend here so I spent quite a bit of time visiting them. It is a 5 minute drive north to a mall or 5 minutes to the downtown core. It is right on the river...

We were here tenting it with a small number of friends. The staff were extremely rude and condescending to us, told us to put our fire out. We were talking quietly with no music, but were told quiet time was at 10 pm, which meant no fire, no talking, and told we should be getting into our tents. I felt...

Staff was helpful friendly and efficient. Campsite was clean and secure. Location was awesome. Security guard on site, with gate. Sites and roads were paved. Full hookups and lots of room easy to get into.

I've stayed at a lot of camp grounds in my many years. Even in the deepest part of the woods, you still do not have to pay for a hot shower, and to top it off you have no temperature controls. You'd think that being in a city, close to water and amenities that a shower would be free. Also...

This is a beautiful spot with lots of mature trees right on the river. It's conveniently located close to city center so we didn't have far to go to find a restaurant or shopping. We really enjoyed our stay except the road noise was quite loud during the day. The road that runs along the river, and right by the...

“Arrive early on the day of arrival for best spot selection - Reserving a spot does NOT reserve a specific spot - only that you will have "A" spot - it could be on the overflow grass areas which means no campfire - or it could be a spot too small for a big tent and vehicle... That being said - Dave & Carol did their utmost to ensure we (two couples) had a great weekend camping here”

“get there sooner than later in the day - even with reservations - available stalls are first come- first served... Also - enquire about using the "overflow" grassy areas - for a few tents - camping in an open area is a lot nicer than the separate gravelled sites... (as long as you do not want a fire right beside you)”
