After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we though this would be a good place to stay on our trip down island. We were unhappy with the decision. We checked in around 3 pm and were given a room that was in the process of being cleaned so we couldn't use it right away. Why not give us an already clean...

This hotel was a very good stop. The rooms were clean and even though the hotel is near the highway, we never heard the vehicles. The man in the office was pleasant and talkative - he had time to answer our questions about the area. Good restaurant is next door.

Not so bad. For what it is it is cute as a button. Yes there's some love needed but it's really kinda cute. Old school motel it's clean it's ran well and who can complain. If you need a quick overnight stay why not? Stop and stay and help a couple with their hotel owner dreams

Good price if u need to stop on trip up island or down. Older hotel with owners fixing it up each year but still old. Nice restaurant next door. But a few miles to Duncan or Ladysmith to shop for food . Duncan has little to offer. North is Ladysmith a old coal mining town nice bakery on Main Street...

We were in desperate need of 3 rooms on a Saturday night in July...a hard thing to do on the island. We called the Fuller Lake Motel and the owner was very accommodating even though he was stressed with his wife being in hospital. He provided 3 clean rooms. Hotel is older and needs to be updated, but all in...

Needed a basic room for 1 night. After arrival, decided to upgrade to suite with kitchen/living room. That new room was not ready, but manager immediately went and finished cleaning it himself. Super helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable. This hotel is labeled 1-star, but is better than some 3-star places. Great value.

We were cycling from Mill Bay to Chemainus and spent one night here. Plenty of hot water and a spacious bath tub, very clean, but otherwise unremarkable. A restaurant next door, Haida Way, was available for meals and the food was good although the service was very slow -- the place was busy and short-staffed.

No breakfast served here, however there is a family diner right next door that serves a decent breakfast. The hotel is basic, Our room was clean, it was all we needed for the night. They have air conditioning, flat screen tv's and free wifi.
