The resort is in a great location. If you need to be close to nature, you would appreciate the place. In terms of facilities itself, it lacks all the regular stuff any hotel/motel would offer. If you are travelling light and need a place to crash, this can be an option. It is slightly on the expensive side for what...

Don't let looks deceive you. This was a wonderful stopover following a week through the Rockies. Such a peaceful location; friendly staff, a great breakfast, and an awesome morning kayaking on the lake. And Beavers in the room too (cuddly ones!).

The location of this resort is fabulous, right on the lakeside where you can see so much wildlife literally outside your cabin doorstep. You can hire rowing boats / canoes / kayaks to take out in to the lake, but be mindful that if you want to fish you cannot hire rods etc, you must bring your own which is...

We used this hotel for an overnight stop whilst traveling from Banff to Vancouver. It is a little out of the way, and more remote than I realised when booking it. Situated in a nice setting overlooking a lake, the hotel is pretty isolated. It is a little dated on the inside, but clean and comfortable and more than ideal...

Stayed here as part of a family get together and truly enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and sweet and the location has a lot to offer. The area is crawling with critters and wild life and they very much welcome it which I loved. The food was incredible and they went above and beyond when it came to...

On arrival was not the large resort we expected, more of a small older motel style building. We had to walk upstairs 3 times to find a room what was clean and what we requested! The lake view room looked out over the carpark and road - then the lake, though nice open view of the lake from the balcony...

Located on the lake peaceful place for nature and wildlife. Good size rooms clean but definitely in need of an update. Nothing done l suspect since the 80s.simple things like coffee in the rooms would have been good. Wally and rest of the staff really pleasant and hospitable which makes the place. The hotel really caters for birdwatchers good place...

The motel is an older building which could probably do with a good lick of paint and some maintenence, but once you get in and start talking to Wally and Derek, with their passion for the local surround and wildlife knowledge, you soon get past the initial Impressions. Good old fashion service and homely meals are part of the charm....

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views and nature all around you. Loons, eagles, ducks and fish jumping all around. Morning coffee on the deck with lake view. Food was excellent in the restaurant even though they have a very limited selection with no wine selection other than house brand which was OK with supper.

Hotel is located near the lake in the hearth of beautiful nature. Beautiful birds. Impossible to reach without a car. Big rooms with 2 double bed. Clean and quiet. Breakfast available. There is a restaurant for dinning.
