Lovely breakfasts, great linen and beds, one of the suites has an excellent fully equipped kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Nice host who accommodated us at 1030 pm very last minute (we had booked at 8pm & went for dinner). Not a place to hang out all day in - but excellent to use as a base. We stayed 3 nights. Not... This is the hands down, the best bed and breakfast I have ever been to. My girlfriend and I stayed a night this past week and loved every minute of it. The route is very scenic, and the property is wonderful. The individuals who run the B&B are so kind and make you feel right at home. The breakfast is... More

Extremely central and picturesque, wooded location in Nanaimo. My wife and I had a fantastic short getaway and cannot say enough good things about the fabulous host, Helen, and her sister who cooked us a delicious breakfast. We stayed in their suite with a separate private entrance and it was extremely comfortable. It was clean, well appointed and a perfect... More

Everything very good! Two nice Chinese sisters run the B&B since 2014 I a.f.a.i.r. and have an 8 yearold girl and also a boy in that age. They also have 3 dogs, mostly outside in their doghouse / kennel. Husband was in China at that time. Rooms were decorated and stuffed very lovely with everything you need. Because we came... More

My Mum and sister and I recently stayed here for two nights on a visit to Nanaimo, and really enjoyed our stay. We had a little trouble finding the place, since Google maps still had a previous address on file and sent us to the wrong house at first, but once we found the right address we found ourselves at... The location is fantastic and the owner, Helen Lin is a very special person. She has superb people skills and knows all about excellent customer service. As my wife and I were sitting in the beautiful backyard, like a forest scene, Helen brought us fresh grapes to enjoy with our beer. The breakfasts were phenomenal. I highly recommend Mapleview BandB.

This is a quaint and beautifull Bed and Breakfast. Lovely grounds. Well kept. Run by the nicest people. The room we had was clean and comfortable. But the best part was the breakfast. Delicious. The best Pancake and Omlet ever. The owners were more than accomadating.

A very clean and beautiful facility with wonderful breakfasts and very friendly people. The grounds are well maintained and lush. Will definitely visit again. Helen and her husband Bruce were very helpful and they have a very cute little dog, if you enjoy animals! Patrick and Norma Farnon

We stayed here for one night at the end of our trip to Vancouver Island. Judging from the previous reviews, I think there must be new or temporary owners. When we arrived to check in, the owners young children were running in and out of our room and then went upstairs where they were so noisy for the next couple... More

We stayed on the last two days of our Canada trip with Helen. She is the new owner of the Maple View B&B. In the first night we stayed in one of the rooms with back garden view. As the heating was very loud Helen offered to change the room to one in the front. We had a decent sleep... More
