The only reason I did not give this B&B 5 stars is because it is not close to the downtown. If you want a relaxing spot away from the city this is a great place to land. Peter, the owner was very friendly and answered all our questions about life in BC. By the time we arrived in Nanaimo, we...

We could not have felt more welcome or appreciated than what we were shown by Sue and Peter. The room was beautiful, and they think of everything - including music playing through the TV when we returned from supper. And the breakfast was to die for - I had Sue's French Toast based on the comments of another reviewer and...

The bed and breakfast is located in a quiet rural area but only minutes from the town. Nanaimo is spread along an 8 killometer stretch of coast and the location gives easy access to both ends of town. The host, Peter Hardie, coped extremely well during my weeks stay in the absence of his wife. He was hospitable, accommodating and...

I would highly recommend this B&B. Stayed for 4 nights and could not have asked for anything better. Sue & Petter are very friendly and helpful people and the breakfast was superb. The location is great, elevated rural views yet very central for Naniamo. I will certainly return and would recommend to friends & family.

A fine and large home in a secluded location but only 10 minutes away from my appointment in West Nanaimo. The guest suites are in a private wing with separate entrance.Everything is new ,crisp and clean. The owner/hosts are just a couple of years out of the U.K.and bring all their British charm and attention to detail to this guest home....

The Maple View Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located near downtown Nanaimo yet in a peaceful location in the hills. The Hardies were extremely gracious and helpful, having thoughtfully appointed the rooms to address all possible needs and comforts of their guests. The breakfast menu is ambitious and delectable, served when you want it, and Sue leaves little surprisees in...

We experienced the warm hospitality of Peter and Sue on our recent trip to visit family in Nanaimo. Our room was cozy and elegant with special in room features like a tea and coffee making options, a towl warmer in our bath and chocolates on our turned down bed in the evening. We had amazing choices for breakfast and Sue's...

My family and I were looking for a one-night stay for a wedding we needed to attend. We found this B&B through another one in the area -- it was recommended as family friendly. Not only was it extremely well suited to a family (we have 3 small children, and the room accommodated the five of us nicely with the...
