We only spent one night here and loved it. The room was clean and had the amenities...micro, fridge and coffee maker. The continental breakfast was good. Had the basics of cold hard boiled eggs, cereal and danishes but the only hot item was toast as the waffle maker was broken. The only reason I gave this a 4 star was...

My husband and I recently enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the inn on long lake in a king room on the third floor. The view from the room is serene - a beautiful lake with trees reflected in the water. Beds/pillows are wonderful and the rooms are very clean. breakfast starts at 630 with a good selection of baked...

Thank you TripleM_99. We are very lucky to have such a unique location, with every room having a view of the water from their private balcony or patio. Enjoying breakfast lakeside is such a pleasure in this beautiful summer weather. I will definitely share this with the staff. We have a great crew, from the Front Desk who first welcomed...

We stayed there for three nights. We got a family suite as there were five adults and a baby. Lots of room and nice view of the lake. Came with free breakfast and had all the usual. Toast, eggs, waffles, cereal and fruit. Over all a nice place to stay.

We recently spent two nights at this hotel and it was a VERY pleasant experience. The entire staff was extremely friendly and ....they really do love dogs. We had a ground floor room that opened right out onto the grass around the lake which was very convenient. If you are travelling with your pooch on the island, we would highly...

Clean, nice hotel. Always upgrading and improving something. Great breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff. Always my first choice for a hotel anywhere near Nanaimo. Lots of parking and oversized parking as well.

When travelling on business, I only stay at this hotel. It is by far my favourite. It's been about a year since I have stayed here, and I was glad to see that renovations had been done to the rooms. They look great!!! The service is awesome, staff are great and the scenery is just beautiful!

Was a lovely hotel and quiet. Quite central. Breakfast was awesome. Only thing I would recommend would be the level of customer service be increased. Server in kitchen and receptionist need to be a little more pleasant. It goes a long way!

Thank you Oohlala Toronto. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our lakeside hotel. I do apologize about the lack of smiles. While everyone can have an off day, we are generally a pretty cheery crew, but it sounds like we need to do better. We have had some challenges, and made some changes in our...

Nice view of Long lake. Old fashioned feel - almost resort or lodge like. They were mowing the grass upon our arrival. We sat on our balcony looking at the lake and the taking in the great weather and pleasant odor of the freshly cut grass. Excellent staff - friendly and helpful!
