We stayed for two nights in this great bed & breakfast. Actually it is a lot more than a "bed", you have a large kitchen with a table for four, a separate living room, a large sleeping room with a comfortable bed with TV & DVD (and lots of DVDs to choose from) und a nice bath. Everything was really...

We haven't done a lot of B&B holidays but we have booked lots of accommodations via VRBO.com and this rivals the best that we have stayed at - and we received an amazing breakfast too! I don't know that we can expand on the reviews that are already here but just reinforce the fact that we think this is a...

Dockside B&B is great. Everything is fantastic and we could not find any fault: - the setting and location is perfect. Close to downtown Nanaimo but the back garden runs down to a lake where there are beavers to be spotted!; - the size of the downstairs apartment is larger than most, clean and really well appointed; - the breakfasts...

This place is spotless, comes with a fully fully equipped kitchen and separate living room and is located on a lovely property next to a small lake about 10 minutes by car from downtown. Separate entrance so no issues if you come back a bit late from an evening out and a greater sense of privacy. Far better deal than...

This is more than just a room - it is more a whole downstairs apartment, so very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the carpet in the bedroom luxurious. The Nanaimo bars in the fridge were delicious (and a really nice touch) and it was really good to have hot chocolate/herbal tea that could be made. The shower is over...

My partner and I wanted something quiet for our anniversary. Dockside Bed & Breakfast fit the bill. Alison and James couldn't be more gracious hosts, so be sure to invite them (if you are so inclined) to join you for coffee chat during your sumptuous breakfast. I can be a bit of a challenge, following (loosely) kosher dietary practices, but...

The owners really go the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable. We have lots of dietary restrictions & our delicious breakfasts were made exactly to our needs. The space was perfect for our family of 4 grown adults. Close to all ammenities!

Why stay in a hotel when you can have your own fully equipped three-room apartment? The bedroom, lounge and kitchen are each as big as many hotel rooms. Each is better equipped than most hotels - iron, ironing board, dressing gown, slippers, toiletries, shower and bath. You even get some Nanaimo cake. Don't be put off by the name. This...

The B & B was exactly as it was described. A full suite - kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. Very private with a lovely view of the lake and private outdoor seating area. It was exceptionally clean and very quiet. Breakfasts were homemade, filling, hot and delicious! Hosts were lovely. We will be back!
