This place is a hidden gem, just off Lower Bench Road and the funky town of Penticton. Silke and Neil (+ friendly dog and delightful boys) who run this lovely Guesthouse are welcoming and most interesting to talk to. Comfortable, spacious rooms, great views, delicious home-cooked breakfasts, gorgeous grounds, peaceful location, vineyard... Where better to stay and relax while tasting...

We are a mature and discerning couple who enjoy quality. Located on the edge of the town of Penticton, with commanding views of the surrounding countryside and Lake Okanagan, this beautifully landscaped property is a hidden gem in this beautiful stretch of BC wine country. The main house has four beautifully appointed rooms, and there are two separate guest suites...

My husband and I wanted a quiet, relaxing getaway and booked into E'Laysa based on the reviews. We were disappointed to be placed in a room on the second floor. There was no mention or photos on the website of twenty steps of curved staircase! I asked Neil for a room on the main floor but was told he didn't...

Dear Donna, I would like to explain some inaccuracies in your review, and state the situation so that others may use discernment when reading your review. First of all, you had told us that you assumed that a guesthouse would be accessibility enabled, with no stairs and all rooms on the main floor. We feel it's important that if your...

E'Laysa is an elegant, comfortable, relaxing, romantic and perfectly located gem. Neil and Silke have created a beautiful setting. We could walk to many of the vineyards from their place and it was a short drive to others. There is a wonderful trail system close to E'laysa that my wife and I took advantage of to go for running as...

We loved our stay with Silke and Neil in their beautiful home. From the moment we stepped in the house we felt welcome; Rafael ,the sweet German Pointer ,happily greeted us and "showed" us around. The house is on a beautiful vineyard and has gorgeous grounds. Our room was luxurious, spacious and had a lovely view of the garden.Everything ,from the...

We're delighted by your description. E'Laysa means the flow of inner beauty in an ancient language. We strive to create the space here for guests to find a piece of paradise for themselves... to reconnect, replenish, escape the daily and create lasting memories. Thank you for your review.

I really wanted to like E'Laysa..... But..... The good: lovely setting amongst the vineyards, nicely furnished rooms, extremely comfortable mattress & linens, nice hosts. The bad: Internet reception in the Suite was horrible: one bar if I stood by the kitchen window (which kept getting dropped) no bars in the rest of room. -- and even more annoying was being...

Dear Lincoln, I'm sorry you feel this wasn't the ideal stay for you. I have compassion for your review, and also want to clarify a few points. The Garden Terrace includes a full kitchen, private garden terrace, and two bedrooms with king size beds. It's an ideal choice given originally you were coming with your mother and you needed separate...

This guest house is beautiful and in a beautiful part of Canada. The owners are very welcoming and the home made waffles for breakfast were yummy. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms clean, bright and comfortable. Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer

Silke and Neil are the quintessential couple and run the most whimsical escape on the Naramata Bench. Prior to our trip, I e-mailed Silke about the details of our stay. I told her my partner was visiting from Napa Valley and I was determined to prove to him that the Okanagan could give his region a run for his money....

E'Laysa does not need my review to tell you how wonderful it is. Neil the owner, immediately made us feel welcome and each morning treated all the guests to a gourmet breakfast. I am a well travelled reviewer who has been to many B&Bs around the world. I have to say, from the get go, I enjoyed my E'Laysa Experience. What I look for in a B&B is something that I can't find at a hotel / motel. "Personal Touch." I think Neil and Silka get that too. It felt from the...
