They re-invest their money where it best benefits you- fantastic memory foam bed. They are so comfy!! And excellent pillows. Ya, the building is older, but it's very quiet inside. The decor is what it is, but you're there to sleep mostly, and the bed is a dream! It's the best prices gem in Rupert.

I have stayed here about 4 times, rooms are older but clean and the try to keep them updated. Very Reasonable pricing 79 bucks right now for 2 persons 1 bed. Good parking and is easy to find with a McDonald's rest. Right next door.

Very good place to stay in Prince Rupert. Especially if you are fishing, they are VERY accommodating for recreation fishing, crab cookers, deep freeze, and just very nice people to deal with. Not fancy but clean with a good rate. Stay there every time I am in Prince Rupert.

This was our second visit in 2 years. It is a super place to stay if you are fishing in Prince Rupert. The rooms all have convenient kitchenettes, including freezer, microwave, & stove. They also have 2 propane b-b-q's and a crab cooker for guests. Enjoy your freshly cooked salmon on the picnic table on the lawn. There is space...

I live in Terrace but I am usually in Rupert on day trips to work, returning home at night. Had a big job to do and needed a place for four nights. Everyone recommended other hotels, but I wanted a place I could see my vehicle at night and didn't seem to be overrun with can pickers. The Parkside is...

Best internet because they not only have wireless but most rooms have plug in connections as well. I need good internet when I am away from my work. Quiet location. Friendly management. A nice Ma & Pa business. I can't understand how rude some of these comments are. I've stayed in "the worst motel ever" and the Parkside is no...

No it isn't the Ritz, but did the job nicely as a clean, convenient place to wait for the Ferry the next day. I liked the location near the park and was able to walk to the more touristy areas. The McDonalds next door was a plus and the staff were friendly and helpful. For the price it was worth...

I got there and there was nobody at the front desk,(20 min) Then drunks kept me up all night, just to be woken at 5:00 am by the workers at Mcdonalds in the parking lot, The lady the checked me in was very unfriendly and had trouble prying herself off the phone, she made me feel like she was doing...

I liked JC999999's review. We had just had a terrible night stay the night before in Terrace (@Northern Motor Inn) so this hotel was a refreshing relief. We were treated well and our sleep was so deep and peaceful we slept late - until 9! The beds are comfortable firm memory foam on a wood base and pillows that weren't...

At first glance this place seems old, a bit run down, kind of sketchy. But the people who run it are super nice, the rooms are clean & cheap, and there's this attention to detail that suggests there's someone here who cares. I noticed small repairs done on various things in the room, repairs done by hand and in a...
