Great little B&B in the country up on a hill overlooking the water. A long walk down to the water but doable if you want. Accommodations were basic but fine. Breakfast was fabulous and the hosts were lovely. Many animals around which was fun for the kids..they loved the chickens running around! Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and I and 2 small dogs spent 5 nights in the cabin. We had a wonderful time! Peaceful, quiet and the perfect place to unwind. Kitchen is well equipped. There is BBQ on the deck which we used every night. There are stairs to the ocean and we walked the dogs every morning when the tide was out....

Don’t expect the typical B&B experience of friendly hosts, nice surroundings and a good breakfast here. Their website is also misleading. Breakfast: Sad. Yogurt (two days from best-before date), hard, refrigerated, store bought bread and English muffins, a bit of butter, cheap tetrapak juice, a nice fruit plate (but I suspect it was the source of stomach upset soon after)...

As a last minute booking for our family including two teenage boys and two dogs, this was a delightful surprise. Our hosts were very accommodating with an early check in and we found our surroundings quite comfortable. We had the Mariner Suite and it was very clean. Our breakfast was lighter with fresh fruit and home baked muffins but that...

While the location was beautiful and the room(s) were cozy and comfortable we were expecting a typical breakfast to be prepared as part of our stay. Instead we were offered some fresh fruit and muffins (which were nice) and a fridge full of store bought bread, bagels, and juice. We were expecting something a little more substantial and were somewhat...

We had an event on Salt Spring so we scheduled a weekend at Long Harbour Bed and Breakfast. Once we found the place and drove down the dirt road we stopped and got out although it wasn't clear at all where to park. Nobody was there to greet us, as we looked around everywhere, not a big deal but we...

21 family members stayed at Long Harbour B&B in July 2015. Diane was amazing communicating with me over email to coordinate all the planning it takes for a family reunion. She also gave great advice while we were there regarding all the hidden Salt Spring spots. When we arrived everything was as we expected (except the 200 stairs to the...

My wife and I along with four children (ages 8 - 11) stayed in the three bedroom suite for a week in August this year. The suite is on the second floor above a storage garage, next to the chicken coops, sheep pen and horse stall. The suite has a wrap around balcony over looking the property, and has a...

My 10 year old daughter and I stayed here for 3 days over the BC Day long weekend. The suite we stayed in was comfortable and clean, with a great view from our deck to the water. We enjoyed using their assortment of kayaks. Even though all the rooms and cabins were booked, we never found that the kayaks weren't...

We had a booking for 2 nights at this B &B for our anniversary. We were already in transit to Saltspring via Victoria and had a ferry reservation back to the Mainland from Long Harbour, when we received an e-mail from the owner that she double booked and that she therefore had no place for us. The replacement B& B...
