Three of us adults decided to do a last minute trip to Salt Spring Island. Originally I was looking for ocean front accommodations, and was unable to get any. We were very happy with our accommodations here, and would come back. The 'house' is a beautiful log house, with separate entrances to the suites, and total privacy. The floors are...

Long Harbour was a perfect fit for our girls getaway! The 5 of us stayed comfortably in the Garden View Suite and we had all the amenities you could imagine. If camping is more your style than a hotel stay, this place is the perfect in between. We cooked food over the fire just steps outside of our room, swam...

3 adults stayed in the seaside guest suite. It was a lovely stay with friendly hosts and a beautiful location. We arrived after 11pm on the late ferry and Diane waited up to welcome us. The room: the room is cozy and comfortable. It is well stocked with various cooking and dining equipment. The bed is comfortable. The futon was...

This B&B was a great find. A welcoming and clean and lovely suite, warm and helpful hosts, and amazing breakfasts we are still talking about. It was ideal with young kids -- trampoline, pool, hot tub, kayak and canoe, playground, and visits with the horse who lives there. And only minutes to the ferry or Ganges. We will be back...

Long Harbor on Salt Spring Island stretches out in front of this hillside retreat just a 2-3 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Passing ferries and sport fishing boats slide by majestically as viewed from the lofty shoreline decks. Quiet and clean with comfortable beds. Handles 4 easily even with just one well-appointed bathroom. Engaging hosts that have done a...

A group of girlfriends and I rented the cabin and unfortunately had more visitors than just us staying there. There was mouse droppings throughout and one seen running accross the kitchen counter. When we reported it to the owners they were apologetic but did not give us any sort of compensation. Also Breakfast is NOT included when you stay in...

If looking for a quaint Island get away, this will disappoint. The three bedroom accommodation needed updating and a good cleaning to get it up to par. The property had lots of odds and ends in decorating but lacked some basic essentials such as coffee and paper products (toilet paper & paper towels) that would have made the stay more...

My wife and I stayed in the log cabin / cottage overlooking Long Harbour and it was a delightful retreat. Very private, very quiet, well appointed, beautiful view ... if you are looking for a beautiful spot to Chill Out, this is it. It's also very close to Ganges so you can do some shopping or sight seeing if the...

There is nothing formal about this reasonably-priced and down-to-earth B&B. Perched on a bluff overlooking Salt Spring Island's Long Harbour and (sometimes even) Washington State's Mt Baker, the place offers a variety of reasonably-priced accommodations to fit singles, couples, families and those traveling with pets. There is a wide range of interesting things right on site: hot tub, horses, chickens,...
