W's staff are helpful, attentive and knowledgeable including, perhaps especially, their events staff who looked after our daughter's beach wedding (fifty guests). Every detail was looked after meticulously, and efficiently. The ceremony took place just above the water line with waves lapping behind, guests seated looking towards the couple against the sea. Appies followed (light, tasty) with cocktails, an interval...

We've put off splurging for a stay at the Wickaninnish for years...what a shame! All those missed, amazing experiences! Now we know and will definitely stay again and again. The staff...10/10 to every single one of them. The room and view...10/10 with numerous little touches and amenities. The food at the cafe and the restaurant...10/10. The website is extensive but...

This was the first visit for my 80 year old mother and I. The place is simply beautiful. Located on Chesterman Beach on the rocky shore overlooking the Pacific ocean. Stunning views from the rooms, beautiful attention to details and local artwork everywhere. The place makes you wish for dreadful weather so that you can spend more time inside in...

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary and birthday. The tranquility, spacious rooms, full service and wonderful meals completed a memorable three nights. We preferred the Pointe Restaurant to the Driftwood Cafe and the brunch menu was good value. The complimentary nature walk was very enjoyable and informative. We loved all the added touches that were included...

Fantastic hotel. Great staff, fantastic rooms and wonderful restaurant. Our room overlooked the quiet cove - very private - could leave the balcony door open and listen to the ocean throughout the night. Room has everything you could want for a relaxing weekend - the binoculars were a nice touch. Rain gear was nice to have as well. Restaurant tasting...

I loved my surge channel room, to fall asleep with the sliding doors open and hear the ocean pounding is the best. The food and service are always top notch and staying at The Wick is always amazing! The staff take such care and are always friendly. Took a trip to The Floating Gardens which was really cool. Loved every...

We returned for 5 nights in mid-October. We had booked our favourite room almost 2 years ahead of time. We arrived at the tail end of the crazy storms that hit Vancouver Island and it was such a relief to be ensconced in this lovely peaceful place. Our room was perfect again - quiet, cozy with windows on two walls....

Great service and location. Lovely room and relaxing atmosphere. Not sure it's completely worth some of the higher prices of rooms, however, compared to other properties globally and what kind of location/amenities/experiences you can get for similar money.

The Wick celebrate its 20th year October 14 to 16 and we were privileged to be part of it. Great dinner prepared by all the past and present chefs who returned for the anniversary. Appreciate the generosity and thoughtfulness of owner manager Charles. Each guest receive a bottle of Wickaninnish labeled Brut, and a wine-skin : a bubble wrap in...

Wickaninnish Inn, a Relais & Chateaux property since 1997, overlooks the Pacific Ocean from a rocky point on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast, near the eclectic town of Tofino and Pacific Rim National Park. Two contemporary cedar buildings, set against a backdrop of ancient rainforest, boast an extensive local art collection (complemented by the neighbouring wood carving shed), and all rooms and suites offer ocean or beach views, gas fireplace, soaker tub and individual balcony. Uncompromising service, including a Clefs d’Or Concierge team, is a standard. The sole resort on Chesterman Beach, Tofino’s longest at 2.5km/1.5mi, the Inn is home to refined West Coast cuisine at The Pointe Restaurant and naturally-inspired treatments at its intimate Ancient Cedars Spa.
