We stayed at the hotel at the end of our trip and clearly we saved the best for last. Attentive and friendly staff. Gorgeously appointed guest rooms, particlarly the bathroom. Outdoor veranda in the rear of the hotel is a place we could have stayed for hours. Hotel dining was great.

My wife and I loved this hotel. The staff were very professional and courteous. The room was spotless and so comfortable with a world class bathroom. It was quiet despite construction happening in the adjacent lot. I'm a little sad we didn't get to have drinks at 1927, a prohibition style bar, they are closed Sunday and Monday, the 2...

I'm a well-traveled exec, so I'm very stingy with great reviews... I loved this place!!! Excellent location. WONDERFUL staff - bellman, valet, concierge, room attendant - all gave us personal attention. Comfortable bed. Nespresso coffee unit in the room. The shower was huge. There was even a sliding glass door between the bathroom and the bedroom; I'm guessing so that...

Magnificent luxury hotel in an ideal location. Luxuriously appointed rooms that leave no wish unfulfilled. Wonderfully quiet and discreet atmosphere that continues from the hotel reception throughout the house. The visit of the trendy, 4th floor "roof-top" bar, be it at daytime for swimming or relaxing or in the evening to chill out is a must. Excellent trained, extremely friendly...

We stayed at Hotel Georgia for 2 nights in 4 rooms. There were 8 of us in total and we enjoyed the luxury of the hotel. There isn't much to be said that hasn't been said before. The hotel has fine furnishings and all of the amenities you could need. I wish I was able to stay longer. Things we...

As other reviewers have already stated, this is one great hotel. From the moment we got out of our cab from the airport, until the moment we left, the room, the staff and the ambiance simply floored us. They were helpful arranging restaurant reservations, as well as suggesting what was worth seeing and what was not. We were even able...

Nice boutique hotel with historic details preserved, quite bustling. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit cramped while the bathroom is large. One side of the bed is just far enough away from the wall to get out of bed. The bedroom door blocks the closet entrance when open. The room doesn't seem to have as many...

My wife and I stayed in a junior suite for 4 nights. The room was large and well decorated. The customer service in this hotel was fantastic. The Bentley pick up service was a really nice touch. The attention to detail was second to none, and overall it was fantastic. The in-house restaurant was amazing. The location fo the hotel...

This hotel was A+ in every respect. The rooms are beautiful and spotless with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. The service is top notch, very attentive. The concierges go above and beyond to be helpful and make excellent recommendations. My only caution would be that the rooms on the lower floors seem bigger but they are a little noisy especially...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
