We really liked the decor throughout this hotel. It felt small and intimate. We had a superior room and it was very comfortable. We loved sitting in the lobby lounge and had some fine cocktails. Its in a great location close to great shopping and not too far to walk to the waterfront ( 10mins)

This is an excellent hotel in Vancouver. Staff is very friendly, its centrally located in town, accomodations are modern, clean, and comfortable, and building has a lot of charm. Would recommend if its in your price range.

Apart from a minor snafu- rooms next to, but not adjoining as we had booked- our stay at the Rosewood Georgia was excellent. The hotel was booked solid for the Women's World Cup, so there was really no for them to change our accomodations- totally understandable. Huge bathrooms, soft beds, an excellent central location, inviting lobby, good bar- all first...

My husband and I have been in love With the Rosewood chain since our honeymoon at Las Ventanas in Los Cabos. We've since made it a goal to visit as many as possible, and Hotel Georgia is no exception to the quality you find in the brand. Friendly staff, perfect room for the middle of downtown Vancouver and on pace...

My wife and I stayed six nights at this beautiful, high-end hotel and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is centrally located, so it's an easy walk to Canada Place, Stanley Park, Robson Street, BC Place and the Granville Island ferries. We reserved a Junior Suite for our stay and, although the room was huge and luxurious, it was very...

We spent 4 nights at the Georgia while on holiday in Vancouver and truly enjoyed our stay. In many ways, the Georgia contributed to the success of the Vancouver portion of our holiday. We had a Deluxe King Room. I believe that there are currently only 5 of this class of room available at the Georgia but it was sheer...

This is our 'go to' hotel when visiting Vancouver. Many details are sorted out prior to arrival via their preferences form. The staff quickly recognize you on arrival, The con siege service is second to none. No request is too small...taking a photo comes to mind. Suggest during Jazz Festival Time (late June) that a room requested at the back...

i had a fabulas weekend, at the hotel Georgia. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Staff is over the top helpful. Food was great. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I did not want to get out of the bed. Great location, with a view. I loved every minute of it.

Stayed for one night at hotel. Good position for pre or post cruise, could walk to terminal if you didn't have too much luggage. Close to waterfront. It was fine, was over a week ago and I'm struggling to remember much about it which leads me to think overpriced for what we got. Comfortable.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
