My husband and I spent a few days at the Pan Pacific Vancouver celebrating our wedding anniversary. The hotel is ideally located - it's a short walk from Gastown, the seawall and other areas worth exploring. Upon entering - the hotel seems a bit uninviting. It is linked to the convention center and seems busy. But once you go up...

right on the waterfront , next to Congress center the hotel is immaculate for service, friendliness and offer unique view of the harbour ,west side and North Vancouver. Excellent bussiness floor and lounge with great restaurants.Highly recommend the Saturday night restaurant Pacifica with opera singers, truly an unique experience. Stayed there 1 week and wish we had more time.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific the night before our cruise. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating, the room was beautiful and the hotel is above the cruise terminal! The morning of our cruise, the bellman came to our room and picked up our luggage and took it to our ship which left us free to roam around Vancouver until...

Fantastic location, direct skytrain access from the airport, one minute walk from the Waterfront Station. Close to Seabus station. Located above the cruiseship terminal. Steps to the East and West Vancouver Convention Centres. Great view of either downtown or the North Shore Mountains and Coal Harbour. Rooms were clean and spacious. Internet connection in the room was not strong enough...

I stayed here for a work-related trip and was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and accessibility of the hotel. I even took the lightrail from the airport without any problems to the hotel, just a few blocks from the station to the hotel. The standard room was somewhat dark and unexciting but clean and comfortable. The pool area was nice...

Stayed in a premier corner room. Views of the city and the harbour. I found the services very nice and the staff helpful, the rooms very clean and well updated. Iphone docking station is for older models and didn't work with the latest tech. When I took culinary arts I had an instructer that had previously worked at the 5...

views of mountains and Barbour are breathtaking. Close to restaurants and sea plane location. Lovely pool and hot top with nice views. Breakfast at restaurant was good. Room clean and comfortable. The only thing I would note is that this is a huge facility so you do not get any sense of community or a homey feel. To many this...

Stayed for two nights prior to a cruise departure in September 2015.We requested a harbour view as our whole trip to western Canada was a celebration of a 45th wedding anniversary. Hotel management most kindly had a small gift prepared and ready in our room on arrival. Spectacular views from our very luxurious room of the harbour and Grouse mountain...

Stayed in a concierge suite while awaiting a cruise departure, and everything was wonderful! Daily breakfast and afternoon hors d'oeuvres, stunning views, and so much space! The room was supplied with a set of binoculars in order to take in the most of the view! Great location within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, puts you right at the...

Was attending a conference and stayed in a suite ( special rate too ). The view of the harbor is spectacular , especially when the sea planes land and take-off against the mountain backdrop. The room is spacious , well equipped , comfortable bed, and a good size bathroom. Cleaning services are prompt , efficient and good. We had to...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
