We stayed there in June to attend a conference. We stayed at the harbour view room. Wonderful views of the park and sea. Bed was so comfy. Roomisquitelarge. All the tour buses stop right in front of the hotel . Starbucks right next door. Frankly I can't think of any negatives except the check in time. 4 is too late.

The harbour area is really the nicest in Vancouver. The Pan Pacific is extremely comfortable and in an ideal place for cruise passengers (the terminal is in the same building). The lobby bar has the most fantastic view of the harbour and on a warm evening can't be beaten. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice, comfortable and very clean room with a spectacular view of the bay, parks and mountains. I would say it is the best location in Vancouver - everything important in the city center is no more than few minutes walk. Service very friendly. Pricewise - well - it always could be cheaper....

I often stay at the Pan Pacific for business or pleasure when I am in Vancouver. It is close to restaurants and shopping. I always try to get a harbour view room and the view is outstanding. The rooms are clean and spacious and have everything you could possibly need. The staff is always friendly and continue to exceed my...

We chose this hotel as it is directly linked to the cruise terminal at Canada Place. We'd booked the Alaska Cruise Package which included breakfast, late check out, and baggage transfer to our ship. We arrived straight from YVR at 1:30pm and although the check in time is 4pm our room was ready right away. The reception staff were very...

After many years of staying in the business center, we booked a room at the Pan Pacific (PP) for a cruise to Alaska 5 years ago. I loved how easy it was to see the ships loading and unloading, coming and going. Also, the transit distance from the PP to the ship was 100 yards. This year we invited children...

We stayed for one night in a corner room with the Pacific Escape package which just means 2 free adult breakfast buffets, and free wifi. Watch pricing because the price went down a couple of times. Had difficulty getting price adjustments so I simply rebooked the package myself and cancelled the old bookings. The bellmen were superb with our luggage....

The hotel is as close to the water as possilbe. Great views on the harbor and mountains as well as the sea planes (noise did not bother us). Room was excellent and large. The five sails restaurant was superb. Would not stay elsewhere in Vancouver.

We stayed 3 nights in the club room. We had a room with beautiful views over the harbour and mountains. Worth paying extra for the views. Staff in the Club lounge very helpful and friendly. Hotel in ideal location by the harbour and near the town centre. Wonderful hotel.

yes its a really nice hotel - what is great is the location right at the waterfront. so if you want to go on a cruise there is no better place to stay, the ships dock on to the side of the hotel. however - if you are not a typical cruise passenger (old and obese) you might be happier...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
