The hotel is as close to the water as possilbe. Great views on the harbor and mountains as well as the sea planes (noise did not bother us). Room was excellent and large. The five sails restaurant was superb. Would not stay elsewhere in Vancouver.

We stayed 3 nights in the club room. We had a room with beautiful views over the harbour and mountains. Worth paying extra for the views. Staff in the Club lounge very helpful and friendly. Hotel in ideal location by the harbour and near the town centre. Wonderful hotel.

yes its a really nice hotel - what is great is the location right at the waterfront. so if you want to go on a cruise there is no better place to stay, the ships dock on to the side of the hotel. however - if you are not a typical cruise passenger (old and obese) you might be happier...

Great hotel located right on the waterfront, and right in the center of activity in this bustling, cosmopolitan northwestern city. Convenient parking service; nearby attractions; cruise ships dock right there! View seaplane and marine activity with expansive views of both the city and the harbor and surrounding mountainous terrain. Catch an informative and fun trolley tour right in front of...

First time at this great hotel. Super room overlooking harbour, clean and comfortable. Although on business checked out club room for next year's cruise from Vancouver Alaska. Best location for next year right next door to the cruise terminal. The hotel will take our cases direct to the ship. Hooray !!!

This hotel has an excellent location and the service and room quality were very good. It was also quiet which was excellent for sleeping. A room with a water view was requested and although this wasn't guaranteed at the time of booking, it was accommodated :-) The hotel is where the cruise ships arrive and depart so very convenient if...

This hotel is a charmless tower block in serious need of a facelift. It is grossly over-priced. The decor and rooms/ bathrooms are very dated and wifi painfully slow to add to the feel that you are in the film 'Back to the Future'. LOnly suitable if you have a desperate need to be near CBD or cruise ship port....

We stayed at this hotel for the last two days of our tour around Canada. Its a very large property on the harbour and is very busy when the cruise ships come in as the conference area of the hotel is used for the Cruise terminal check in. Its quite enjoyable to watch the ships come in and out and...

Beautiful hotel on the waterfront of Canada Place a few days before embarkation on Holland America Line. A room fit for a Queen with a city view and at night is fantastic. Ultra Comfortable pillow top beds and top notch bath amenities. Good wifi signal, downside is that it kicks you off several times requiring another logon. Minor detail, however....

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
