Excellent location on the waterfront with easy access to downtown, Gastown, Yaletown. Sightseeing providers are outside the hotel door with many choices. Wide choice of restaurants nearby. Recommend first stop at the Lookout if you're a first time visitor to Vancouver. Pan Pacific is a great choice with friendly, knowledgeable staff, excellent rooms. Great heated pool and hot tub on...

Hubby and I went here for a weekend getaway and it was perfect! The hotel is situated in the heart of downtown and you are close to the Westcoast express should you need to use it. The views of the mountains and the city of Vancouver are something to remember! The room was quiet and spacious. We had appy's and...

Our second stay at this property. It is excellent. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The property itself is beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we had a great view of the harbor. We had breakfast a couple of times in the lobby cafe, where you have a choice of an attractive buffet or menu...

This hotel is situated in the heart of Vancouver and offers breath-taking views of the harbour, mountains and city lights. All the staff make you feel welcome and treat you like royalty. More than that, they are cheerful and eager to please. I highly recommend this hotel.

When we booked our Alaska cruise, the hotels selected by the cruise line were not available, so I booked the Pan Pacific Vancouver hotel based on location and ratings from others. This hotel was very nice, though very much above in both quality and price from what I'd normally like for a one night stay. We did not have time...

We originally planned to stay in the Fairmont Waterfront hotel, but this was full with delegates attending a conference, so we were switched to the Pan Pacific hotel. This hotel has a better position than the Fairmont, being situated on the harbour front. It is close to the Waterfront Rail Station (which includes access to the airport via Skytrain). We...

We stayed at the Pan Pacific for three nights pre-cruise. Our room was a deluxe city view. The hotel was absolutely perfect. The room was comfortable and well appointed. My husband and I spent a few days at the Pan Pacific Vancouver celebrating our wedding anniversary. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
