Words can not express how awesome this hotel is! Each unit contains a full suite inclusive of kitchen, full fridge, dishes, dishwasher, kitchen sink, living room and separate bedroom all for the price of what other hotels would offer for a standard room of one queen bed or two double beds. The bed was comfy and our kids used the...

Very nice hotel. Staff are always very friendly and define a classic, service oriented culture. Jen at the front desk is amazing. Dina, Harry Jeffrey, Bridgett and Susie in the restaurant make every day great and the Concierge crew are best in the city. Hotel is very close to Robson Street shopping district

Met up with friends to do a few sightseeing adventures. Hotel is in an excellent location for walking or catching Skytraibs. Room was super clean, bed linens and pillows exceptional. Staff from front to vack of the house super friendly and helpful and maimadd delivered with a smile.

Well decorated rooms; upscale restaurant, luxury pool & spa. A beautiful, bountiful , bouquet of fresh flowers will waft you in the face when you walk through the lobby doors. Don't be surprised if you run into a celeb or two. It's fairly common here. The dining is pretty good. Although we actually had Christmas dinner here one time &...

The room we stayed in was on the 18th floor facing the North shore in Vancouver with all it's splendor ... downtown & snow capped mountains, absolutely spectacular. After going up to our room a supervisor knocked on the door to check with us to ensure everything was done properly. We went down to the bar to have a drink...

This was my fourth of fifth stay at Sutton Place. Friendly staff, great rooms, morning breakfast has great variety and if you book right is including in your rate. Central to the downtown core. Rooms are well set up and very comfortable.

In the heart of downtown. Shopping and restaurants right outside the door. Very friendly and helpful staff. I used the pool and spa and found it to be very clean. They have a pretty good continental breakfast bar but just a little expensive for what is offered. Be sure to try the daily happy hour drink and oyster special.

Sutton Place Hotel is in downtown Vancouver. It close from everything, Burrard street, the waterfront. Stanley Park is in walking distance, so is the Granville Island - if you like to walk. You can walk to Gas Town and China Town. The bed was very comfortable, the hotel is clean but the biggest compliment is the staff who go out...

Blocks from everything, probably one of the most central hotels in the downtown core. Nice lobby and rooms, we had a corporate rate so was affordable. Only complaint is the lack of a family-friendly bathroom anywhere on the lobby level (that I was aware of). Previous visit with our month-old had to leave dinner in the function room and return...

Here for business. Arrived late night, checked me in right away. I was put in a room against the elevator shaft which was very noisy. They kindly relocated me. I was very surprised to see the dated bathroom to include the shower enclosure that definitely needs a face lift. Not horrible, however I expected better. Overall, nice hotel.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
