Me and my son stayed here for a Canucks game booked via Hotwire paid less than half of going rate but treated no different! Awesome service ! Clean rooms! Every thing was great! Would stay again! Only downside was the parking fee but the valet gave my son free cookies at Arrival and departure!

I was going to give 4 to 5 stars, but upon leaving I noticed that my customized stylus that good client of mine had made up for myself was not on the desk where I had left in when I was meetings. I figured maybe I had put it in my briefcase and I would clean everything out when I...

Stayed at the Sutton Hotel because my cousin was also staying there on her trip from London, England and we wanted the convenience to visit easily. Prior to that we did not know the hotel at all. We were therefore very happy that the hotel was such a gem. From the very comfortable room to the service we had from...

We have stayed here many times, recently in 2014. The hotel had an update to the dining area making it much more trendy and contemporary. Prices were up for dining, service was excellent. The swanky Gerards was still there. We got a package deal through Go2Vancouver for discounted room, parking and $100 AMEX. November is a good time to look...

Our second stay in Sutton Place apartments, visiting from the UK (son at university in Vancouver). As before, brilliant situation, very comfortable and welcoming - a bit like having your own apartment in the city, but with all hotel facilities to hand. (From an English perspective) also, surprisingly good value considering the overall style of the hotel. We wouldn't think...

Stayed for 2 nights on a business trip in October in a 'superior' room. Location is great and most of the staff were pleasant. Asked about use of the minibar fridge to keep some essentials refrigerated on check-in and was told that was not a problem, but the fridge was warmer than the room. Turned thermostat down but no luck,...

The Sutton place is on of those hotels that feels like home. We stay in the apartments, which cost a little more, however you have the convenience of a kitchen, dining room loungeroom, several bedrooms and bathrooms(depending on what one you stay in.) The fresh food market is on the opposite on the opposite corner and you can buy everything...

All staff were very helpful and friendly. We had our dog with us, and they clearly wanted to make our stay a great experience, offering advice on where to go for walks, etc. The location is great. Room was quiet and well appointed. Free WiFi.

I stayed with my wife in Sutton Place for 6 days in October. This is the second time I had a pleasure of using this hotel and after re-affirming my great experience of last year I thought it is only fair to leave a great feedback for this venue. First of all it is a great location with regards to...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
