The Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver is located in the downtown district close to many great restaurant and shopping venues and actually sits atop an upscale shopping center. The hotel's check in area is located one floor above the ground level accessible by an escalator. The front desk staff were professional, friendly and efficient as one would expect. The lobby...

On check in we were extended an upgrade. The room was nice but the bathroom was pitiful! Economy motel style bathroom. The tub was so small you couldn't take a bath sitting in it because of its size. For the price of this room go somewhere else!

Love this hotel. Beautiful rooms, good size with bathrobes and slippers.Convenient location. Right in the heart of the city. Lots of shopping and restaurants around the area and skytrain station is just across from the hotel. Pool is beautiful with the in, out layout. Very good gym machines. We did not try the restaurant perhaps next time.

From top to bottom, this hotel was just incredibly wonderful. Best customer service I've ever experienced. We travel with our 2 toddlers and the hotel staff was over-the-top kind to us all. The fitness center and pool were outstanding. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

While the staff made up for the shortcomings of the property, the hotel felt outdated in a number of areas despite an upgrade in 2012. While our bed and lodgings were very comfortable, the bathroom was the downfall where we were concerned. The shower pressure was so low that they actually have a half door and place for towels in...

3 night stay in the beginning of June. Location very central to downtown and easy short walk from Canada Line downtown stop. Service and staff are efficient, capable and friendly. Room was nice size as well as bathroom. Clean and upscale, what you would tend to expect at a five star hotel. No disappointments or let downs.

The staff were helpful and kind, especially with directions and restaurant choices. The pool was great too. Location ideal for restaurants, biking, Granville market, theatre, and more. The beds were comfortable and sheets soft.

The staff are amazing, They allowed access to the pool/spa early in the morning before check-in. The room was clean, and the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. The location is convenient for all downtown, handy to public transit and lots of places to eat. Best place to stay in downtown Vancouver.

We stayed here for a long weekend in Vancouver. Location-wise is it very good. Also the bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. There was also an interesting and fitness pool area - which we visited a couple of times. The hotel was a bit let down by the restaurant and bar areas, which feel a bit too ordinary for a...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
