From check in to check out everything was quick and friendly. The room was great and the bed comfortable. The restaurant (Copper Chimney) was delicious as well, would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

Booked this hotel based on its location and price in relation to a conference that I was attending. Glad I did. The corner suite was great, even though the view wasn't much more than offices in the seventh floor. The mattress was a little hard for my liking, but the cozy room more than made up for it. After arriving...

I have stayed at Hotel Le Soleil before and will stay again. The hotel has a nice traditional feel to it but with all themodern amenities. Great downtown location. Very nice suites. Friendly staff with excellent suggestions for local restaurants

What a lovely classic hotel in a great location. Just about 1-1/2 blocks away from Pacific Center, and surrounded by quaint coffee shops and good breakfast places, it's a lovely place. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. They were always ready with a smile! Only two things I would comment on: the thermostat was a little unreliable as...

This was my second time staying here so I can now confirm there is consistency: clean and spacious rooms; friendly staff and knowledgeable doormen; excellent prices. Vancouver is a very walkable city and this hotel is centrally located. I will stay here again next time I need to visit Vancouver.

A beautiful boutique hotel located close to everything. Elegantly appointed rooms. Very clean and Great value. We had the king suite which was very comfortable and perfect for entertaining before the Canucks game! Check-in was fast and efficient and the staff were friendly and helpful. We felt this was a lot better of a hotel to stay in downtown than...

The hotel is close to everything downtown and skytrain station. Nice and quiet. Good service. I had trouble with the decorating (dark, traditional) and the lack of natural light, especially since the "all suites" concept means breaking the space into really small rooms so it feels very closed in. We started with a small corner suite on the 5th floor...

Dear Seniorita7, Thank you for sharing your comments on your recent stay at - I am sorry that we couldn't accommodate your choice of suite, I suspect the hotel was very busy over the nights you stayed otherwise we would have offered a corner suite on a higher floor. All of our Executive Suites have windows in the bedroom and...

Had a king size room. Staff all very pleasant. Had a job to spot hotel whilst driving, but once we found it, all ok. Would stay here again. Did miss not having premium sports channel to watch our soccer team play.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
