Stayed at the St. Regis four nights in early May. Check-in was quick and easy. Rooms were clean and well kept. Keep in mind that the rooms are a bit smaller than your typical North American hotel, but still very nice and cozy. Some rooms only have the glass shower, so if you require a bathtub you'll need to request...

This is a fabulous little hotel in central Vancouver. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are extremely well appointed (although could benefit from plugs next to the bed....a trick missed by a lot of hotels!) and really, really comfortable. They have a lot of added (and free) extras for such a central hotel, i.e. water, internet, phone...

Have stayed at the St. Regis a few times now. Great place to stay right downtown Vancouver. Convenient to transit and every place you wish to see downtown. The employees are great, always pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast is great and the pub is a great place to grab lunch or dinner (service is very prompt if you are on...

Almost every aspect of the room was outstanding, and the hotel service was impeccable. This is a perfect location for down town Vancouver. Will return when next requiring such a location, but will request a room at the back and on a higher floor to avoid street noise late into the night.

I was a guest of this hotel from May 8th-May 11th. The front desk service was second to none, very friendly and accomodating. The room is well decorated, clean and comfortable. There was also a nice welcoming note handwritten from Jeremy Ranconi (Manager). My room was right near the airconditioners (outside the window) but I didn't hear a thing. Great...

Myself and 2 work colleagues stayed at the St. Regis while attending a conference in Vancouver. It was a lovely boutique hotel, recently renovated. It was very clean, the service was great, it provided free wifi, it's close to great shops & restaurants, the rooms weren't overly spacious but they were very comfortable and sound transfer wasn't a concern. If...

I recently traveled to Vancouver with the intentions of getting engaged to my girlfriend. I had made arrangements with the hotel to have flowers in the room (they took care of all the purchasing/choosing/delivery - it cost me about $50). I also requested that they put me in a nice corner room, which they did. Also, for my engagement, I...

The service was top-notch. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was ideal. You need to be inside this hotel, if even for a night, to discover its charming attractiveness. More need not be said.

I had to stay one night in Vancouver, a city I had never before visited. The St Regis turned out to be perfect. The rooms are very comfortable and staff were at all times friendly and helpful. The hotel is an easy walk from Waterfront Station on the Canada Line, which itself offers a cheap and easy way to get...

This hotel was very quaint, the room was an excellent value, the shower a nice surprise and the toiletries were great. Everything worked well and it was nicer than expected. The bed was comfortable and crispy clean. The breakfast was included in my price and it was much more and much better than expected. The service from the dinning room...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
